We got two of these for our senior cats (each about 8 pounds) to replace some carriers we really liked but couldn't seem to get very clean after the last trip... heading to the vet just scares everything right out of these babies. So far, I like them, and they've gotten more use than we wanted after some unexpected emergency vet trips. One of our little ones even wants to sleep in hers, so they must be pretty comfortable. I really like that these have the privacy covers on the sides. One of ours is definitely a cave cat, she wants to be in dark cozy places all the time, so it's nice to have the option of windows or no windows. Having multiple points of entry is nice too - makes the in and out process easier for both of them, regardless of what kind of mood they're in at the moment. :) I was worried they might be too small, because the ones we found at local pet stores seemed extremely cramped, but the sizing seems perfect. With the doors all zipped up, they're very sturdy, but when you unzip, they can fold flat for storage, which is a nice design feature. I'd definitely recommend these carriers for folks with medium sized cats, and having different colors (one for each cat) is actually super helpful - our previous carriers were just black and basically the same design, so we didn't know which one belonged to which cat. It didn't matter too terribly much, but I'm sure they prefer to have their own spaces with their own smells and the color coding makes that easier.

This is a great carrier for small dogs and big cats. It's soft and roomy and not heavy. It's got a very long strap too. I take my cat short distance all the time. It's great for lo g distance travelers too. It even has shades so he wo t get anxious at what's going on around us as we walk through busy thorofares. I'm an older woman and I'm comfortable carrying it. He's my constant companion a d I wanted him to be comfortable and now I know that he. And the price is so right. 👌

We bought this to transport a rescue cat back home, a 2-hour ride. Wouldn't you know, in the last 7 minutes of the drive, she chose to shart everywhere in that carrier. The poor thing, poor us. This carrier protected my brand new car (what were we thinking?) and was not too bad to clean. I'm most grateful that it protected my car! Less than a week later, we used it to take her to the vet. She decided to bless the carrier with a #1 event. I just don't think she travels well. Again, not too bad to clean up. We don't plan to take her anywhere else, anytime soon. Other than the messes, the carrier is well built and collapses easily. It has 2 large flaps to allow better sight line, or they can be closed down to reduce stimulation. The zippers move smoothly, and the base of the carrier has a removable cover for cleaning. Nice carrier!

I have a big cat, and an older (heavier) molded plastic carrier. I sometimes have weight limits to keep in mind (for carrying purposes). The Gapzer carrier has been a great change for safely transporting my big cat to the s-paw/vet. She accepted the change of carriers without any fuss. The carrier's multiple access options are great, but my girl needed only the one access point to get popped in and quickly settle down. The main body of the carrier is a sturdy mesh, and both sides can be rolled and secured up to allow for maximum air circulation or sightseeing. The carrier can be secured with a seatbelt "tether." The straps on the sides are sturdy enough for easier carrying, or you might prefer using the shoulder strap. The bottom liner/tray is sturdy enough to support your small cat or dog when being carried. The padded liner can be removed for easier washing and the entire carrier can be washed by hand (not in the washing machine). The Gapzer carrier has made our regular vet/s-paw visits so much easier (for both the cat, and for myself). And, it's fun to have some color choices!

The carrier is well designed and easily holds my 11 lb cat. I like the large side zipper which makes it easy to put the cat in and clean the carrier. There are also flaps on the side which are good for when the cat can have a view and good for making him feel more secure when at the vet or airport. The bag also folds easily. For my cat that is good in the carrier this is perfect. For my cat that is not good, he ripped through the material very easily, which was disappointing. Switching to hard carrier and saving this for the good cat.

My adoption cat has big dimensions and was slightly overweight at 17 pounds. This carries him perfectly. The bottom doesn’t buckle and the seams are super strong. I like that it has the big shoulder strap option plus the handles. The roll up side flaps are really nice too so the sun doesn’t hit him directly while we are driving when it’s hot, and I can raise and lower it so he doesn’t feel claustrophobic and can see me. I do lower it though if there’s lots of other pets at the vet while we’re waiting, but keep it open toward me so he can see me. I also love that it’s washable although I haven’t needed to wash it yet. It’s collapsible which is perfect for storage, and the multi entrance on both sides plus the top makes it super easy to get him in and out of. Also plenty of space on the inside for him. He can’t turn around in it. Was a really good purchase for him, great value and I highly recommend it. I plan on getting another one it when I get my boy a friend.

I just adopted a beautiful tri-color Chorkie and need a well-ventilated carrier to put in my bike basket for our bike outings. This fits the bill perfectly. There is a small pocket at the top for carrying doggy bags, treats, or a training leash! I picked the light gray as it will not absorb as much of the sun while out on a warm or hot day. I can't wait to take her out on our next beach-bike ride! I will post a picture later. Very nice carrier, and it has the clip to hold her inside.

my cat is about 13-14lbs and quite long, I wanted to find a carrier that he wouldn’t be so cramped in. this fit the bill perfectly and after leaving it out he’s immediately started using it on his own to nap or have a rest! I haven’t taken him out in it yet but I believe he’ll be much more comfortable during our next vet visit or fire alarm!

It was good to carry my cat to the annual vet.
