Just a heads up, I received this 10/18/25 and it expires 1/6/26. A little bit goes a long way! This is a paste (so a thicker consistency...at least it isn't watered down 😉), however, when stirred and mixed with your meal it is exactly like Chinese Mustard. I love that it is in a lightweight sturdy portable plastic tube making it easy to carry in my bag wherever I go. Stays perfectly fine at room temperature and doesn't need to be refrigerated which is also a bonus 👍 It will clear your sinuses and make your eyes water! This definitely is for super spicy HOT lovers and nothing less. I have already gotten two friends hooked on this product after trying just a teeny tiny dab of mine. Buy it! You will NOT be disappointed! Spices up any meal (even potato chips...yes I tried it! It actually was delicious!) 😋

If you like spicy Mustard then this will treat your taste buds. Very fresh tasting, VERY SPICY, awesome condiment.

Nice slight burn, great taste

We LOVE hot Chinese mustard on our take-out food, we always ask them for the good hot "house" mustard and not that junk in the little packets. Occasionally they forget to put it in our bag, and also sometimes we make homemade stir-frys and egg rolls, so forth. So it makes sense for us to have this on hand. ( We also love really good extra hot Wasabi. ) We've tried several brands of mustard who have claimed to be hot and we were disappointed. This brand is good because it does have heat. I like to add some of this paste to honey mustard, too, to create a good sweet hot blend for a charcuterie board. If you've ever tried the brand Beaver sweet hot mustard ( yum!) That's pretty much what I blend up for the snack tray. So far this is the best hot mustard paste I've found. We wouldn't mind if it had even a little bit more heat ... even still but it's really good. Besides If you go too hot, you can't taste the food any more. I recommend it. Oh, btw ours arrived fresh and expiration date isn't for over a year away, so yes it's definitely fresh.

This is good mustard, it has a kick, but I was expecting the sinus-clearing power of super strong mustard. Good taste though, and beautiful packaging.

I finally started searching through Amazon for a Chinese/Oriental/Hot style mustard that had good reviews. The reviewers were right on this one: great flavor, perfect amount of heat… just a home run. Now in addition to using it for our meals, I don’t have to wonder whether the current restaurant left the Chinese mustard out of our egg roll order. Delicious mustard for adding to crispy gau gee, wonton, mandoo, and for adding a little spot onto anything you eat in ramen and hot pot items. It has just a little bit of sweetness. And I don’t water it down with soy sauce. Like I usually do with powdered mustard paste. I will always buy this Korean style mustard paste. I just squeeze a dot into my bites.
