I needed a cover from the Sun for my new sediment filter. This cover is a cheap solution that should work until I can build a proper cover for it

What can I say -- it works!
If you have a sprinkler spin down filter installed on your system (to trap contaminants) and you live anywhere there's humidity (like Florida!), you need one of these. Otherwise, the green mold will build-up in less than a week's time and make it almost impossible to keep the filter clear, even with regular scrubbing.

Need to pay attention to shipping
The product was perfect and I have ordered another two. The problem is that they are very small and several could have fit in one shipping envelope. Two sunshields and two envelopes. You paid double for shipping and then I had to pay double to pick them up at Mailbox Etc.

It works!
It works! Some algae was starting to grow in my Russco spin-down filter. I ordered up this sun shield, installed it, and just like that the algae was gone. The right tool for the right job.
