Effective, benign taste, needs squeeze tube
I'll compare Shibari Triton Anal lube to Wicked Jelle anal lube, another water-based gel. Both of these gels last much longer than thinner anal lubes such as Sliquid Sassy. Both are easily cleaned from fabric. Both eventually become tacky and mildly stringy as they dry, but neither becomes uncomfortably sticky. Both can be hydrated by adding saliva or a spritz of water. Wicked lasts a little bit longer, but Shibari has a more pleasant taste. Shibari contains glycerin for a mildly sweet flavor. It has a benign slightly berry-like aftertaste. Wicked has a mildly bitter aftertaste. Both contain food grade preservatives. Shibari uses methylparaben, sodium hydroxide and propylparaben. Wicked uses tetrasodium EDTA, citric acid, sodium benzoate and potassium sorbate. FWIW, I think that animal studies that demonstrate endocrine disruption at extremely high paraben doses do not give cause for concern about Shibari. Note that the glycerin in Shibari can wreak havoc with the vaginal biota of some women. Unfortunately, the same can be said for any of the preservatives in either of these products. The Shibari bottle is poorly compatible with this thick gel. Dispensing it is a royal pain. Consequently, I transfer it to a reusable silicone squeeze bottle. Obviously, the Wicked squeeze tube is more convenient. Shibari's quirk is that a thick layer appears whitish as it dries. This could be alarming if you or your partner mistakes it for semen that has escaped your prophylactic. Wicked contains aloe to suppress inflammation and to promote collagen production, but I can't speak toward whether there's enought to be considered therapeutic.

Great If You Use A Lube Launcher.
This is my second time buying this (I decided to try it with a Lube Launcher this time). Last time I Bought this I trashed it because I could not get much to come out, but after getting a Lube Launcher and Using the Lube Launcher; I am able to get the right amount of Lube. Update; LubeLife Thick Silicone Lube Is better. (This Lube vs Shibari Triton Premium Anal Lube): This Lube: 1) Water based. 2) Burns if I use a Lot. 3) Comfort does not last long. 4) Great with Condom covered Anal Toys. 5) Gives Me diarrhea if I use a Lot. LubeLife Thick Silicone Lube: 1) Silicone based. 2) No burn at all. 3) Extremely comfortable. 4) Great with Condom covered Anal Toys. 5) Does not give Me diarrhea. The LubeLife Thick Silicone Lube will probably be my go to Anal Lube for Now On. I will not buy this for a 3rd time.

Delivered a bit later than expected
It's still my favorite, though I had to wait a bit longer than expected to get it this time around. Discreetly delivered - that's a +!
