Q: What countries are sending you the melon product?

We manufacture our Bitter Melon (and all of our products) in the USA in an FDA-registered, NSF-certified, and cGMP-compliant facility. If China sounds less-than-appealing, the reality is that the raw material for almost all supplements available in the US is sourced from China, simply because of pricing. To make sure that all raw material received is exactly what it’s supposed to be, our manufacturer runs a sophisticated identification test called FTIR (Fourier-Transform Infrared Spectroscopy), which detects and identifies the ingredients present in all raw materials.

Our Bitter Melon Extract is not organic. However, since this is a highly concentrated 25:1 extract, what happens in processing, in order to get this level of concentration, is that all extraneous materials are removed. Therefore, while it's not organic, there are very low levels, if any, of undesirable compounds in this product.

Q: How long does it take to work?

Most people take Bitter Melon in order to regulate blood sugar levels in the body. Because there are so many variables (age, health, medical history, hormone history, diet, etc.), each person is very different on how long it takes both for the blood sugar levels to start changing, and how much they will respond to Bitter Melon.
