Actually fits a king sized bed, with nice overhang to hide the mattress. Will be oversized to begin with, but shrink to a good size after several washings. Pet proof, easily washable and fits regular dryer, and attractive.I’ve bought so many covers that claim to be king sized but barely hang over the sides and end. This one does fit, as promised.Was so happy with the first one (teal) we bought last year, that we bought the second (white). Highly recommend. Quality, nice cotton fabric, attractive and neat, with appearance of matelasse. Both colors have been excellent. The one stays white, the teal has not faded.

I'm conflicted on how to rate this. Upon receiving this, it seemed to be exactly what I wanted. The taupe color was exactly as pictured on the monitor so I was happy. The weight of this spread is like a true matelasse. I really wanted a lighter weight than my quilt for the summer so I'm happy with that.It is 100% cotton on the tag, exactly as advertised. I put it on top of my queen platform bed, which is not as high as most people's box spring bed. It did not reach the floor on sides for sure but long enough. I immediately took it off to wash it. No loose threads anywhere, which is spectacular to find these days! The idea that items wait around the world in not always super clean warehouses as they travel makes me reluctant to use without washing. At some point, you're going to have to wash it anyway (or at least I hope so lol), it's not a disposable item so how it launders matters perhaps more than your first impression when new.I followed the tag instructions to the letter, cold wash, cool dry. It shrunk considerably and is now 10 inches from the floor on both sides but still reaches floor at foot of bed This really doesn't matter that much to me. It came out without any wrinkles and did not produce a ton of lint for me. In all of these respects, this is a 5 star bedspread.My biggest issue is with the color. I only took 1 star off for color because it may not be that important to most people. For me personally, it's a huge issue that I would take 2 stars off.The color started out perfectly matching my decor and a true dark taupe. I now hate the color. It's not even a faded taupe and not even in the same color family. I'm not sure how the heck it completely changed to a color not remotely like it started lol! Other reviews of the taupe are correct, it became sort of a "poo" brown as was described. Another said like hot cocoa color, a very very light cocoa. It's nowhere a taupe now. It's definitely a very ugly brown. You can argue that they're all in the brown family, just as you could say baby blue and navy blue are in the blue family. This matters a lot to me that it no longer evenly closely goes with my decor anymore but may not be important to you. I would suggest sticking to very pale colors with this spread.It's still a 100% cotton, good quality spread that is a perfect weight and very comfortable and breathable for sleeping. It's just not pretty like it was 24 hours ago.

I love the way this lightweight cotton spread looks and sleeps. It has a satiny finish which makes it look luxurious. The cotton fabric allows it to breathe so I find it perfect for warm summer nights. It's easy to wash and dry, too. It is a good value for the price.

When I pulled this blanket/spread out of the packaging I was totally impressed: soft, perfect color, heavy...everything I had asked for. My first dislike was the size. It is an odd size and at first I thought I had it turned wrong on the bed, but no it's just an odd size. Too much spread for every side of the bed. Maybe its a king, but no, checked and it says queen. From side to side, spread goes to about 4 inches from the floor, too short to be a full bed spread but too short to use with a dust ruffle. The extra length on the bottom we just tuck way under. The second thing I didn't like was personal and nothing to do with quality. It looked like something my grandmother would have had on her bed. Certainly did not go with my Oriental rug. We have had this spread for several months. My 14 pound dog gets on and off the bed all day. The bed has become snagged in many places and will have to replace soon. So beware if you have a put that gets on your bed. This has not happened with any other spreads we have had so not sure if this involved quality or my dog.

This is a lightweight coverlet, but that is perfect for Florida where we don't ever need heavy blankets. The color is accurately depicted, and the size is great. We put it on a double bed and the sides go within a few inches of the floor. On a queen mattress it would be shorter, of course, but we didn't want to use a skirt. I anticipate being able to fit this into my washer, too, which makes keeping it clean so much easier. The shams are easy to fill because the opening is at the end of the sham, not in the middle like most. Overall, very happy with this purchase - it looks nice with my Victorian bedroom furniture and drapes.

100% cotton. So hard to find these days. Beautiful. Washes very well. Warm and cooling at the same time. Gives a clean look to the room. Wrinkle free. Soft.

The hard-to-find color spread is exactly how it's pictured. I used 4" risers on my bed (something I needed for years) and bedding is much better, however, I still stumble over the corners maybe I need higher risers. The fabric, thankfully, isn't thin but a medium weight tight weave, great for spring season--maybe summer. Great quality for reasonable price.
