Great bike for daughter age 9!
Love this bike, it is perfect in size for our 9 year old daughter, and colors are beautiful! I followed measurement guide (google online guide) for wheel sizing. We bought the 24” wheels, steel frame, for 9 yr old with 26” inseam and 55” tall. It is perfect. This would also work for a kid with a 25” inseam and 53”+ tall (our 8 yr old). The bike itself is about 1-2 inches smaller in height than the Mongoose 21 speed Bike with 24” wheels (we liked both!). The seat and handlebars are adjustable but our 9 yr old fits perfectly with both at lowest, leaving room for bike to grow with her. *This took my husband about 90 minutes to assemble but we also removed the front wheel break per safety preference- both hand breaks are still on the handlebars, but only the one controlling the rear wheel break is usable (we just removed the actual front break part from the front wheel of the bike- which was a personal preference:) ). Our daughter loves it, great quality bike. Totally worth the buy and in this case definitely a “you get what you pay for” investment!

Wow!!! Very impressive!
I’m not the one to comment however this is a Very good bike!!!!Very sturdy and steel frame give very smooth ride. I’m 6ft 2in 265 and this bike holds me with ease so far. The seller very attentive In responding To your issues. To no fault of the seller or Fedex ground, but please beware of FedEx ground “ellenwood ga facility”. Had my bike for additional 7 days!! I had to pick the bike up myself which was absolutely fine with me. Fortunately I lived less than 20 miles away. However very good bike!!! Easy to assemble!!! And very nice color. You will not be disappointed Thanks!! 5 stars......

Garbage, buy something better
I bought this for a 9 year old and had a bike shop assemble it just to be safe. They commented on poor parts, etc but I blew them off, I figured a $200 bike is more than nice enough for my daughter's age. Well we've had multiple problems with the derailleurs not shifting properly or shifting rough which isn't exactly safe for a kid's bike and the bike shop can't get them adjusted right. Just recently the chain fell off the gear and onto the "chain guard?" after I was test riding it after it the bike shop worked on it a second time. Luckily it was me on the bike and not my daughter as I went from pedaling normally with resistance to zero resistance on the pedals very abruptly which is a dangerous situation especially for a kid. I really regret buying this bike, I'm into it for almost $300, past the amazon return date and I'll probably junk it and buy a better bike at a bike shop. I don't feel right about selling it or even leaving it at the curb as some other poor kid will eventually get it and potentially hurt themselves on it. Oh yeah, I called Schwinn and their only solution was to offer to send parts which I can pay to have a bike shop install but I'm done sinking more money into this thing. Also the guys at the bike shop said the design is terrible and even if they get it set right it won't last anyway. My advice is to go to a reputable bike shop and spend more money on a good bike or even a good used bike. Buy it a size big if you have to so they can grow into it and keep it longer. Please do not buy this trash or anything else like it.

Durable and hard to assemble
It can be used daily and is durable, although a little heavy, and a little complicated to assemble, but it is a good bike.

Best bike I've ever
I'm usually one of the dudes that just snags a bike at walmart or something but, usually within a year or so I get tired of them and they start to have issues. I decided to shop around on Amazon. Mine was only a little more expensive than usual but, I've been impressed with everything about it. In fact, I keep thinking it was more expensive. It's light, and fast ... I hit 22mph the other night and all I was doing was racing my daughter down the bike trail. Assembly literally takes ... 3 minutes? Maybe? I guess if you have to pressurize the tires with a hand pump it'll take a 10 minutes. Uhm ... seat probably isn't great for people who spend a long time sitting while riding. I like to stand quite a bit. It's still adequate for sitting.

The quality of the tube isn't good enough. Only ride for few times. The rear tube is having air leakage issue by simply no usage at all. Finally, figure out that this is caused by poor quality on the parting line during manufacturing process.

Bike came without pedals. I didn’t realize that cycling without pedals was an option. It also came without an operating manual to aid in the assembly of the bike.
