This shoe is comfortable, and I like the style and color
The information on this site describing this shoe said to order one size down, because the shoe size was running large, so I ordered a size 6 instead of the size 7, which is the shoe size I wear. I tried on the size 6 shoe when it arrived, but the shoe was too small, even without wearing socks. I sent the size 6 back and ordered the same shoe in a size 7. The size 7 fits perfectly. This shoe is comfortable, and I like the style and color. This shoe is well made, and I know from looking at its construction, that this shoe is sturdy and will last a long time. I walk a lot with my dog and walk long distances when I walk my dog, so it was important for me to purchase a shoe that has support in the arch and would keep my feet comfortable while walking, that is sturdy and would not fall apart after only a few months of walking everyday, and looks stylish and could be worn not just for walkin/hiking, but as a shoe Icould wear for casual use/casual occasions. This shoe fits all my preferences. l love this shoe.

I LOVE THIS SHOE
This is my third pair of the same style of shoes and every one of them had to be ordered in a different size. I LOVE THIS SHOE!When it fits.Which is not the same, ever.First I had a size 9.5, my regular size for everything else Keen. It was HUGE. Like fall of my foot with every step. A size nine fit perfect... and I wore them for a few months every single day. Then the toe started falling apart so I returned them to REI and ordered another size 9. Couldn't even get them on they were so small!Returned them for a size 9.5, still too small! And the color of the red has faded so much they look pale pink, which is pretty ugly. I so loved these shoes when I had them in black and they actually fit, if the toe hadn't fallen apart my experience with the Keen Rivington II would have been very good other than the initial fit fiasco. So disappointed to pay so much for a product I cannot use!I also contacted Keen directly about this and was given almost no help, just a reply saying they don't make this shoe anymore.

I like the look and color of the shoes
this is keen cnx, which is not the original KEEN. The back of both shoes was a little bit scuffed, and the front edge is tight -- rubs the base of my big toe. I nearly sent them back. I'm spraying the shoes with leather relaxer and hopefully they'll be okay. The previous pair of KEEN cnx I had were the same; tight at the front, and rubbed my foot in the same place. I like the look and color of the shoes, though.

Uncomfortable pressure on top of foot
I was really hoping to love these shoes - I need a good pair of walking shoes for a trip over to Europe. However, I was confused by how these shoes fit. When just trying them on they were just slightly big but fit enough, but when I wore them around for a bit the top part of the shoe started to squeeze and put pressure on the top of my foot near the big toe. It ended up hurting so bad I had to take them off and walk barefoot. They didn't give me blisters, it was just the pressure that hurt. I do have very wide and thick feet (my family calls them "blocks") so perhaps someone with a thinner foot would not experience this issue.

For fans of Keen sandals, these flats are worth a try.
I love KEEN shoes. Sadly, they are not widely available in stores where I live. I bought a pair of Keen Rose sandals KEEN Women's Rose Sandal,Aluminium/Neutral Gray,9 M US (size 8) while traveling last summer, and they are a perfect fit. I'm a fan of Keen Whisper sandals KEEN Women's Whisper Sandal,Raven/Rose Dawn,9 M US and recently bought a new pair (size 8) at an "outdoor goods" store. They are an excellent fit as well. I wanted a pair of Keen flats (not sandals) and decided on a pair of Rivingtons. They were not available in-store near me, so I ordered them online. I like them, but the toe box is not quite as roomy as I expect in Keen shoes. However, the less roomy toe box means that the shoes have a "sleek" look rather than a "sturdy" one. The size 8s were a "close enough" fit, so I didn't send them back; they have become more comfortable over time, but I still wish I had ordered a half-size larger. The positive points: The elastic straps seem of good quality and so far have not stretched; the heel is comfortable, not too tight, and does not slip; I've been caught in the rain twice, and the shoes seem none the worse for a drenching. I would just suggest ordering a half-size larger than one's usual in Keen shoes--and thinking of these as your "stylish" Keens rather than "the ones that feel as good as going barefoot."

I absolutely love these shoes
I absolutely love these shoes!! I have been searching and searching for years for flats that actually look nice AND give support. I broke my leg 10 years ago and simply cannot wear shoes that don't have some kind of support (I've tried, with painful results). These are them. I always see everyone wearing cute ballet flats and wonder how they're not hobbling. Granted these are not "ballet flats" but they're still really nice looking. I am a size 9 and the 9's fit perfectly! I also feel like I didn't have to break them in, perfect from the start. My only complaint is that they can make your feet feel hot after a while. Small price to pay for wonderful support! Highly recommend!

Do Not Buy. I Returned Them.
These shoes are terrible. I returned them. I bought a pair of these shoes (the same name made by Keen) a year ago, and I like them so much, I decided to buy another pair. These shoes are NOT made the same. The materials are of low quality. They are flimsy with no support in the heel or arch. They are too small. My first pair are size 8, and they fit comfortably the moment I put them on. No need to "stretch" after wearing. I never rely on shoes stretching out as I wear them. If they don't fit right away, they will NEVER fit properly. This new pair of size 8 Keens are short and tight. I do not recommend buying them. Make Keen accountable for their respected performance and reliability.
