Cantu Shea Butter for Natural Hair Complete Conditioning Co-Wash, 10 Ounce

Got this from a blog recommendation and was not disappointed. For the price, this is a great option for Co-washing. I have very fine/thin hair that is curly when it comes out of my scalp for about five inches before it is too damaged from existence and begins to straighten/break off. Thus my hair is chin length and I try to be as gentle with it as possible: minimal heat, minimal shampooing, lots of moisture. I like the coco butter scent and the heavy/creamy texture. Even with my thin hair, I do find myself using a good full "tablespoon" worth of product, but the price makes that possible. Rinse well and this product will move the "greasy" scalp oil without stripping it and leave your hair light enough to curl/style without much effort. Worth it.

Mild inoffensive scents, I like the smell however! Application wasn't challenging, it didn't take a lot of product to distribute in my hair. Worked well for curl definition(even had curls at the roots!), volume, and texture. A great cowash! Though I'd recommend a higher quality conditioner once in awhile, this stuff works wonders on its own!

Have not used standard shampoo in 8 years. Tried Wen, but found that I frequently lost gobs of hair throughout the month. LOVE this product, doesn't take much for my chin-length hair. Actually, only need to apply to scalp & massage in, wash my body, add a bit of shower water to hair and work through, shave & rinse! No need for 'conditioner', it's already conditioned! Who doesn't love a 5-8 min shower? No tangles (and I have VERY curly hair), can pull a comb through my towel-dried hair from scalp to ends without getting stuck! You will NOT be disappointed :) P.S. Travels very well!

I’m always surprised how well this works, especially for how inexpensive it is. I have long wavy curly hair and generally my scalp is dry, but my roots get oily after day three. It gets my hair and scalp clean and super moisturized, and it smells awesome. It doesn’t go a super long way for me because I have so much hair, so that’s the one drawback. Cost wise, not a big deal, but I hate the idea of buying another single use plastic bottle just to throw it away every 5 or 6 weeks.

I really like this. I have normal (not dry or oily) 2b/2c curls, and this works great for me. I believe it is curly girl approved, which is why I chose it. It has the texture of conditioner which is odd at first, and in general I'm not a big fan of coconut scent, but overall a really great product, especially for the price! It runs out faster than shampoo or conditioner since it's all I use, though.

My daughters and I have curly hair and I purchased this mainly for them to use in between washes. I really like the smell of this product, it’s light and fruity. My kids love how it smells too. Performance wise, I’ve used better. You have to use a lot of this product to get a good enough slip. It’s very cheap, but it goes fast because of how much you have to use. It’s an okay co-wash, it will help detangling hair. I wanted to see how their hair would dry alone after using this product with nothing else in top of it, and I noticed their hair still developed frizz.

Obsessed with this! I’ve never used a co wash but I’m trying to grow out my hair so I replace this with my shampoo. I wash my hair one a week with this co wash and conditioner and I wash my hair with regular shampoo only once a month. I have a dry scalp but I rub this in with my hair massaging brush and it gives a clean feeling without stripping my hair. Also the scent is delicious! It literally smells like a pinacolada

Felt weird to use at the beginning because it doesn't lather all that much- but loved the way my hair looked and felt the morning after. Not greasy at all. The texture looked perfect and my natural curls never looked better. My hair generally gets immediately frizzy when it's humid- but that didn't happen after using this product! I'm amazed.

Sigo el método curly. Es mi co-wash favorito, y no es tan caro como otros. A veces he probado otros y siempre vuelvo a este. Tengo el pelo 3C muy rizado, abundante y seco. Me lo deja espectacular, limpia bien y no provoca picores.

This co-wash is a life changer! I never knew what a co-wash is until I tried this one! It makes my hair super soft and my hair smells absolutely amazing!!! Highly recommend it!
