I finally bit the bullet and purchased this flat iron during a black Friday special. It arrived yesterday and I have used it twice already. Boy, am I impressed! I was a little leery of paying such a high price for a flat iron, but now I know why my naturally curly hair always looks so nice when I leave the salon! My stylist recommended this brand as being one that would work well on my natural curly hair. It is easy to use, heats up extremely fast, styling is snow super quick and has my hair looking shiny and beautiful! My other flat irons were normally between $80 and $130 each. So paying a little extra was definitely worth it. I also did use a heat protectant on my hair prior to use. I will be extremely cautious as I get adjusted to the new grip, as it would be easy to burn myself using this new tool. I am sure it will not be an issue once I get adjusted to it. I have a shoulder length hair and the 1 inch plates were easy to use. So far, the quality seems excellent. If this changes, I will update my review. I would highly recommend! I am including a picture which was taken six hours after I straightened my hair, had worn a winter hat and was in a snowstorm. Normally, my hair would have gotten extremely frizzy and curly. Not this time! Yay!

I bought my first one 4 years ago and recently had to get another. This is hands down the best straightener I have ever used. Not only does it warm up super fast, it’s the only straightener that actually keeps my hair straight all day. My hair stylist uses it and swears by it as well! They also make super cute curls

Only Iron I will use on my hair especially since I get Brazilian hair relaxer. Comes highly recommend by my hair dresser. Does not damage hair and it is a professional iron . I use on myself and clients . Does not damage or dry out your hair , heats up in less then ten seconds. When you only want that professional look from the salon.

I had a prior version of this flatiron for many years and loved it. It was recommended by my hair salon, where they put it to constant use. No bells and whistles, but it heated up quickly, was solid but lightweight, worked well and had an auto shut-off which I appreciated. When that model finally died, I went to buy the updated version and found that the price had increased significantly. I also saw some reviews stating that the quality of this brand had gone downhill. After looking at other options, I bought this again and couldn’t be happier with it. It is still simple, solid, quick-heating and does a great job of straightening my hair in short order. I still appreciate the auto shut-off, as well as the fact that it has international voltage so I can use it in Europe.

My iron started stopped working is the red light that makes weird sounds it doesn’t even heat up right I only had it for seven months. I can’t get a hold of anybody to get a refund and I’m really upset.

Very happy with how this order went! Clear description of the product, and was very to order. Upon ordering the product was delivered to me within half a day. The GHD looks very sleek. I like this new look. A bit different to the older version of this GHD. I last bought a GHD in 2018. This version has a press button to switch on and you press and hold to switch it off. While loading to heat up the light flickers and stops when ready to use, a long with the sound that GHD has in all its straighteners, I enjoy that feature. The heat up time is faster than the previous version. All in all I am happy with this version, I hope it lasts as long as my previous one did - as these are quality products.

It heats up quickly, straightens pretty effectively and is light so easy to travel with. Had ghd stylers before, they are reliable.
