I have purchased this many times and have even used this to successfully treat mastitis when I normally would have to have taken an antibiotic. I took about a teaspoon full 3-4 times a day and I started getting better after a day or two. Mastitis knocks me on my backside so I was prepared to have to get antibiotics and was honestly shocked that this worked. At one time I would have been skeptical about such claims but now this is a staple in our household for many uses, including wound care. I highly recommend it. The quality has been fantastic. The taste is strong but not unpleasant. In fact, I have grown to like the taste.

My dogs have both had serious health problems. I wanted to find anything that I think might help them. After learning about Manuka honey, I decided to try this brand first. I haven't noticed any major changes in my dogs' health. However both of them love this. This is probably the best supplement that they have ever tried. I love the potential benefits for my dogs. I have been trying to figure out what their dosage should be. Neither of them has had any negative results from this. The only problem that I had with this is the fact that it was nowhere near full. It was around 3/4 full. I am not exaggerating. This is not a product that doesn't settle during shipment. The safety seal was also not stuck permanently to the top. I ordinarily would not use something that way for myself, but my dog has cancer and I wanted to get him healthier as soon as possible. I think that this is worth trying. I also would recommend this to anyone just because of the potential.

I use this on my mare for her sweet-itch. (AL summers). This summer has been her worst case, and quite scary at first. Along with Dex, SMGs & Zyrtec this “UMF 20+” Manuka Honey was worth the cost. Her scratching wounds began healing overnight and three days later the sweet itch was under control. I had a daily ritual of oatmeal bath, icing legs, picking scabs and applying manuka 20+. The consistency is medium thickness and I apply with hands or 1” paint brush. Very sugary, and she gets to lick my hands when I am finished. She wears the Shires sweet-itch sheet at night. I have fans blasting in her stall. Value is worth its weight in gold. I am on my second bottle, and can now use it as a maintenance so I won’t be using up as fast. Hope this helps.

I believe my health is better since started using Manuka honey particularly Steens which I consider the best.

The honey is great but this product changed its size from 500 grams to 225 with the price staying the same. I think this has been done purposefully so people reordering the same item will pay twice as much (I haven't notice the size change until I received it). Old jar picture for reference.

Medicine should not taste this good. What a delicious way to cure my strep throat. This honey is the real deal. It was delivered from NZ so fast and I was better in no time. I’m a purist for unpasteurised natural, raw honey and this one tastes better than any others I’ve tried; really like the light fruity/malt flavour with a fine crystal texture that melts in your mouth.
