Perfect for my Christmas cards
This glossy card stock was exactly what I desired. I wanted to make professional-looking Christmas cards using my ink jet printer and a Cuttlebug machine. The weight of the card was perfect: stiff enough to be a real card, but not too stiff for folding or bending. It seems a lot like photo paper, only easier to handle. It isn't flimsy at all. From earlier reviews, I wasn't sure if my ink would smear or if there would not be enough of a gloss. The ink did not smear in my Canon ink jet printer. Instead, it looks crisp and flawless. It holds embosses beautifully. There is plenty of gloss to the paper as well. I am thoroughly satisfied.

Very good paper.
This paper produces a very fine picture. The price is quite good. Now for the serious items. You can not use this paper in a laser printer!!! Glossy paper can create problems if you try.It does work fine in the Xerox Solid Ink printers. I've used it in 2 of those and they worked fine. And it also is glossy on both sides which might be useful for some items. You might be able to use it in an InkJet, but there is no published ICC profile. It is possible to make a profile but you need a rather expensive device.

Superb stock for laser printing your own cards
This is a heavy weight, glossy coated paper that works well in my Canon (MF8650) color laser printer, and the results look like they came from a commercial printer. The key is to get the fusing temperature correct, which means going through the printer settings to select the right type of paper -- glossy card stock. Text prints very crisp and sharp, with excellent contrast owing to the high brightness. Color rendition is good (obviously a function of the printer), but if you want to print your own post cards, this is the stock on which to do it.

Just don't buy it.
It sounds like everyone has been getting different paper when they order this. Whatever I received is definitely glossy, but it's only as thick as regular copy paper... certainly not 80lb. cover stock. I was hoping to use it for brochures or something similar, but then I read reviews that said this paper can't be used for inkjet printers. Geez! That's the only printer I have. What the heck am I supposed to do with this now? I think the fact that it's only usable in laser printers should be noted somewhere in the description. I've never had this type of problem with anything from Amazon before. What a waste of money.

Superb paper for signs, covers, and anything requiring a heavy stock
I purchased this paper to make some signs. My laser printer could use 80lb. paper and I thought I could just drop by Staples and pick up a pack. When I discovered it was a special order item I turned to my old standby - Amazon. They had exactly what I needed and I knew with the Xerox brand it would be quality paper. It arrived so well packaged that you would never know it made the trip through the UPS system. The quality is great and the gloss is just enough to add a punch to your printing. After laminating, my signs were every bit a good as what a sign company would have charged me a lot more for.

Good, not great glossy laser photos.
The paper was shipped inside a larger cardboard box. The package of paper evidently bounced around during shipment and was broken open and scattered about when I opened the outer box. I tried to print glossy photos using my Brother HL-L8350CDW color laser printer. My first try, the toner adhered to the center of the sheet, but not the edges. Be sure that printer is set to GLOSSY paper. This fixed the problem. The print quality is good enough for home use. The toner tends to dull the finish of the paper, giving you more of a matte finish.

Inkjet experience
I gambled and bought this paper for use in an inkjet printer. (Brother MFC 490)Very pleased with the results. Black and color graphics really pop! Photos are ok, but my printer isn't great at them on any paper. Two cautions: The ink takes a few minutes to dry, but seems stable after that. Also, as a layman I would describe the paper as semi-gloss on the glossy side; it's not super shiny.Great paper for the price; my wife makes 2X2 posters/teaching aids for her classroom, and we have to keep costs way down. The Wausau Light Bright matte cardstock here on Amazon is an even less expensive option.

Decent Paper, but HORRIBLE packing.
2 things:The paper quality is 4 stars. I am able to use it in my inkjet printer if I do the following:1. do NOT select any glossy paper setting, use the plain paper setting2. choose low ink setting (like "normal" quality instead of "best" quality)3. as pages come out of the printer, they are slightly wet in the high-ink areas. Catch them by hand and place them on a table. After about 2 minutes, they are dry.4. Wait like 10 minutes if you want to print the other side.I printed hundreds of color brochures with this paper on my inkjet using the above technique.Given that, i MUCH prefer the Hammermill glossy paper (Hammermill Color Laser Gloss 32lb). With the Hammermill paper and my inkjet, I do not have to catch every sheet by hand, but can let them stack up in the print-catcher. If I have a photo on the brochure I try to catch them as photos require alot of ink. Printing with the Hammermill paper is quicker for me. When my inkjet dies, I will get a color laser and then I can use up the rest of this paper...WHY TWO STARS? OMG, I ordered 5 reams of this stuff. The packing was HORRIBLE! All 5 reams had broken apart because they were placed loosely in an inadequate box. I opened the box and basically had 5 reams of LOOSE paper in a box! UGH, so frustrating. I live in Hawaii, so like hell I am going to ship this mess back.
