We built our outdoor kitchen island ourselves and this door was the perfect for the space under the gas grill. It came packaged EXTREMELY well, removing the plastic coating was the hardest part of the install! lol We also appreciate the hooks on the inside for utensils....added bonus! So I have 2 different doors. One I paid a lot of money for and this one. The difference with this one is it barely has a lip to put a screw into anything. The one I paid more for is 2 inches deep with more lip to for mounting.

Did not receive the item that I ordered so I sent it back and reordered it again thinking a mistake was made in their process. Received the same item again which was the lower quality and cheaper version of my choices. Contacted the manufactures customer service and was basically told “if you don’t like it send it back.” Item ordered was fully described and also included pictures of the product. Item received was not that item (Clearly bait and switch). Searched reviews and found several other reviews claiming the same thing. Be careful dealing with this company and make sure you get what you ordered and paid for.

The metal flanges used to bolt this securely to the frame work are only on the left and right sides and are very short...1/2 inch. The hardy backer is 1/2 in alone. Other products I have worked with are 2 1/2 inches, making it easier to skin with tile or thin ledger stone.
