I was waiting to write a review until I got to use this more. I had it for about 5 days now. I bought it bc the one we use at work is a porter cable and there is times I need an air impact to bust bolts loose. I use an impact every day installing wheels and changing balls for hitches and changing couplers. I built and service a lot of atv and side by sides. Work on campers and utility trailers. So having an electric impact makes my job a lot easier so I can run out into the lot and work sometimes. The first day I was very impressed. For the price I really wasn’t expecting a lot. But it had no issue at all removing or installing wheels. I used it for 3 days only charging it the first time before the first use. Still had a full battery on the 4th day. On that day I had to change a coupler on a big car hauler trailer and the porter cable always struggled to remove the bolts. But this one zipped them right off and back on with no issue at all. The other worker instantly asked me what gun is that? I said the one I got from Amazon lol. The customer asked me what brand so I showed him. He was also impressed. Then he asked me what it cost? I told him. N he said, it came with the case and those sockets too? I said yep. He couldn’t believe how well it worked and what it came with for the price. I’ll be glad to tell others to buy it in the future. I then needed to install a weight kit on a truck for a camper that day. I used it to install and again, it out performed the porter cable by a mile. Those lock nuts take a lot to tighten. But this literally ran them tight within 2 seconds. Where the porter cable is be there for 15-20 seconds hammering on it to get it al the way locked down. I absolutely love this impact gun. Was worth every dollar. Not sure why some gave it bad reviews. The one that showed it caught on fire is a little weird I thought so I looked past t that review. But if you want a cheap impact gun that is very impressive and powerful. Buy this one. If u want to spend 300 then go with something else. But this one is incredible and I’ll definitely suggest it to anyone who’s looking for a good impact for a low price. Thank you for a great product.

Amazing tool!! This torque drill is a diy mechanics dream. Doesn’t over torque, provides total control with variable speed based on depressing the lever, and takes off tire bolts and other vehicle bolts in a snap. It comes with attachments as well as a charger. The battery lasts forever between charges and it works like a beast. Crazy to me that it wasn’t all that expensive. Highly recommend for someone needing an efficient entry point torque drill.

Wow, unbelievable torque and power for such a bargain priced 20V Cordless Electric Impact Wrench. Decent battery life too. I was able to remove and replace two Upper Ball Joints and one Lower Ball Joint, on my 2009 GMC Envoy SLT 4.6L I6, on one full battery charge, with still more battery life to perform more automotive repair work. Also, I was able to remove and replace six U-Joints combined for the Front & Rear Drive Shafts, on my 2009 GMC Envoy SLT 4.6L I6, on one full battery charge, with still more battery life to perform more automotive repair work. I'm impressed with the build, craftsmanship, engineering, manufacturing, and quality, of this Avid 20V Cordless Electric Impact Wrench; and just in case if I have any problems, I also purchased the Assurant Extended Warranty, for this Tool. I highly recommend this Avid 20V Cordless Electric Impact Wrench. It functions very well. I rated it 4 Stars because I am disappointed that it's not a Brand Name such as Craftsman, Mac Tools, MATCO Tools, SKS Tools, Snap On, and etc.; why can't they make tools like this anymore.

I bought this impact for everything I need to do that is automotive related. I'm genuinely impressed at the torque output for this price range. I have since upgraded to the full Dewalt platform, but I still use this as a secondary and although it doesn't even come close to the adjustability and max torque of my Dewalt impact, it definitely still has a home in my garage when my brother is over and working on cars as well or if we are both wrenching at the same time. The price is pretty unbeatable, the battery life is decent, the only real gripe I have is the weight of this thing. I replaced my timing belt, water pump and hydraulic tensioner in late August last year, and this thing would NOT under any circumstance fit into my engine bay to hit the most crucial and only impact required bolt of the whole job: the crankshaft bolt. That bolt alone is why I invested in the Dewalt system. The impact is about 2=3 inches smaller in totality than this thing. It's big, reliable, and economical, but it does fall short on a couple areas.

This impact wrench is great! I mainly purchased it for whenever I’m working on my car and need to remove the tires. This impact wrench has a ton of power at 330 ft lbs. This is way more than I need for the lug nuts on my car that should be torqued to 105 ft lbs. Stubborn lug nuts are no match for this impact wrench. With all this power, just be careful not to over torque your lug nuts. I plan on using this impact wrench to remove my lug nuts. But when installing my lug nuts I plan on using the impact wrench at a low setting get to get them started and then I will always finish off with my torque wrench. I like that this impact wrench included 4 impact sockets. I won’t be using them since my car uses metric and not imperial. The carrying case is also nice but mine was dirty upon arrival. Good thing I won’t be using the carrying case since I normally hang all my drills and impact wrench’s. This impact wrench is a great bargain for the price versus name brand wrenches that are twice the price. The charger is also great because it’s a fast charger that charges in one hour. This is ok considering that other fast chargers charge in 30min. But this is no deal breaker.

Not that strong as expected. I have to used the breaker bar to remove the nuts.

i had an old 3.5 amp corded torque gun it did its job for the longest time ,. but i wanted a cordless one so i bought this one ... i had to charge the battery for about 2 hours when i got it .. and then i put it to use it was powerful and worked great .. can take it anywhere .. about a week later a friend called me who had a flat tire late at night i went to help her change it to her spare ,,, i took my hydraulic 2 ton jack and the torque gun .. it took 5 mins to change the tire off and on with spare great product i highly recomend it

Had my GY6 Scooter rear wheel that needed to be opened. The axle nut was torqued with loctite, so, i needed an impact wrench. This one wrench took less than 6-7 seconds to lossen and open the nut. I could not be happier with this. A must buy to save cash. Writing on first day, first hour of getting it. Time will tell how long it will last, or, if it develops any problems. I guess I am covered with warranties for that. But hey,,,,, AVID POWER is the best IMPACT Wrench! This is better priced, true to description and simply the WRENCH OF STEEL!!!! 5/5 As of today. For the home mechanic, this is a great choice. P.S.: For those wondering if this has that analogue type of control, where you press only 10%, and the speed is 10%, it is! This is wonderful! You can press only half, and the wrench will spin at half the speed. Press 20%, 20% the speed will be. It is not simply on and off! What a great deal under 90 bucks for this!

Awesome is my reaction after first use. Will review again after a few used. The tool comes with a nice carry bag,a 1hour fast charger, 4 popular sizes impact sockets and a 3 amp hour battery and instruction manual. The gearcase jacket is metal and the rest of the outside casing is hard sturdy plastic which should hold up for non commercial use. The battery came partially charged but the manual advised that for optimal performance charge it to full charge before use. The charger has a green and red light that tells you what it's doing. Red, charging. Green fully charged. The tool also has a bank of 3 led lights operated by a push button that indicates the remaining charge capacity. So I charged it up selected the correct size socket and tried it out removing the wheel lug nuts on my Dodge Grand Caravan that were torqued to 110 ft lbs . No problem removing the wheel nuts , each nut took maybe 3 seconds to remove . Pressed a slide button to reverse the tool direction and it spun the nuts back on . You should use a torque wrench to check the torque final as I can see that it would be easy to over tighten with this tool. So I am impressed initially with this impact wrench especially as it cost less than half other brands I investigated. I will review again after more use but so far it's a winner for me.
