San Pietro Collection High Polished Brass Bible or Missal Stand, 11 Inch

Arrived missing screws, castings were crudely done, platform sits crooked. Can't believe anything this badly made could cost so much. Trash made in India with no quality control.

We had to try several times to get a good item, as the first one was missing the screw that fits the stand together with the top that holds the missal. It is EXTREMELY heavy...the younger altar boys cannot handle it. The underside which is visible on the altar, is not finished as nicely as the top of the unit which is covered by the missal... and this is the only part that shows. No one but the priest would ever see the beautiful top of the unit, and that's too bad. The congregation sees the underside and it is not very attractive. I may be more critical than others because we purchased it for our pastor for a Christmas gift. He had several other pieces of this collection and we added to his set. I think he likes it. He is using it and has not complained about it.
