Works as advertised
Firstly, shipping was super fast which is always good. Secondly, item appears to be well made and finished. No sharp edges anywhere, it's difficult to describe but if you're a tool person, you know what I mean when I say it feels good in the hand. Cuts metal within the limits of the specification easily. As with most air tools, it is very loud in operation so ear protection is recommended. Air consumption was fairly accurate I think. You're not going to be happy using it with a small pancake air compressor as it will cycle all the time. I have a 60 gallon 5hp compressor and it cycled enough while using the nibbler that I could tell a smaller compressor likely wouldn't work very well. I used it for cutting holes in 29g metal roofing panels and it sometimes struggled when it came to cutting through the ribs, just because of the acute angle caused as the throat of the nibbler went from the flat of the sheet to climb the rib. A little practice and it became a bit easier to force it to climb. One thing I didn't see covered in the manual is that you can actually change the orientation of the cutting head. As shipped, it cuts directly in line with the long length of the tool. However, by loosening the main nut on the head, you can switch the cutting direction by 90 degrees at a time. Hence, if you needed to trim something at a right angle to the handle, you can simply switch the head in less than 2 minutes. This was a nice feature. I didn't lube it every time I used it but enough that I could tell the difference when it needed air tool oil and it runs very well with good lube. Overall, I am very pleased with this tool and would unreservedly recommend it.

Heavy duty.
Better then the harbor freight one, nibbles thin 1/16” sheet metal excellent

Detective.
Came right out of the box seized/bad gasket. Unboxed, oiled it, and it just blew air. Adjusted psi from 50 psi to 150psi and nothing. Attempted getting it to work and even adjusted the air and the collar, nothing. Ended up buying one from the harbor freight due to needing it for a job. That one worked great right out of the bo.

Better with a fence
With a pancake compressor, it cut through 20 gauge steel easily. When I tried to cut a straight line freehanded, it was hard to control and left a nasty ragged edge. When I clamped a piece of 3/4" wood against the work piece, it left a perfectly straight line with a clean edge and no burs. The kerf it makes is a series of evil looking tiny crescent needles that look incredibly sharp. Be sure to use it in a place where you can clean these up easily. With these caveats. I am happy with it. Way cleaner cuts than with a dremel tool.

Hard to follow a layout line
This is a very high quality tool. It cuts very well on 18 gauge CR steel that I use for old car patch panels. The only problem I have is that there's no mark on the cutter to allow you to follow a line. To cut a straight line, it works best if you can clamp a straight edge (wood or steel) to make a fence. If you try it free-hand, you will likely end up with a wavy cut line. It cuts very fast and, yes, it does produce a lot of small crescent shaped waste pieces, but I don't find that a problem. When I cut wood with my circular saw, I have a lot more of a mess to clean up than the small metal pieces this cutter makes. I deducted one star for the lack of a guide mark on the cutter.

Works great. Can get into tight spaces very durable.
Great price good quality tool don’t expect to cut thick gauge sheet metal. It can cut curves very easy not very loud metal shavings go everywhere during use, recommend getting a pickup magnet unless you are cutting outdoors.

Not too sure about the tool just yet
Two week experience with the tool: From my initial use on 26gauge steel it can cut it easily. However it seem to bind or get stuck and require force to push it through the bind. Tried 90-150psi it didn't have an effect on performance... In videos I've watched about this tool this doesn't seem to be an expected behavior. Cons: - Binding during straight cuts (not sure if this is something that nibbler do from time to time) -1/4 npt air inlet out of spec in other words it was too large... 1.To large for a 1/4 npt milton fitting but not large enough for a 3/8 npt. 2. I could bottom out the fitting and have an air leak with tape 3.Used industrial paste for large gaps to seal it Future plans : I order a second one from a different vendor for comparison. The Ingersoll Rand looks vastly different then most models on here. It will be interesting to see if it performs better. Side thought: The general design of the tool resembles some of the poorly rated Chinese models out there. This is just an aesthetic observation. (Since I don't have one those on hand and cannot compare the internals)

Totally disappointed when I got it, I can see that there are sign or people trying to open this item using a spanner with the amount of scratches on it. I return it immediately
