Great product. I was so happy that i bought one more. Anti shock as it uses microwave technology to heat water.

This has to be one of the worst design decisions I’ve seen in a basic household appliance. The Havells Magnetron water geyser is completely dependent on a remote to start. Let that sink in — without the remote, the geyser is DEAD. There is no manual switch, no backup button, no override. If the remote stops working, you don’t get hot water. And now the real problem: The remote quality is pathetic. Extremely cheap plastic, poor buttons, unreliable response. It went bad within a short time, and once it did, the entire geyser became useless despite being electrically and mechanically fine. This is a water geyser, not a TV. A geyser should NEVER be designed in a way that a cheap remote becomes a single point of failure. Hot water is a daily necessity, not a luxury gadget feature. To make things worse: • Replacement remotes are hard to find • No universal remote works • No mobile app works • No manual start option exists So you’re left with an expensive wall-mounted showpiece that cannot heat water because a ₹200-quality remote failed. This feels like planned inconvenience rather than innovation. Either Havells cut corners badly on the remote or didn’t think through real-world usage at all. Strongly NOT recommended. If you value reliability and basic common sense engineering, stay away from this model. A geyser that can’t start without a flimsy remote is simply unacceptable.
