no, not lightfast
Despite what they say its not lightfast certainly not ASTM I. Put a sample in you window and see. They won't provide any lightfastness rating, even if you contact company and ask, which is another sign its not ASTM I.

Very useful for dip pens and quills
I've found most walnut inks to be far too thin and watery for use with dip quills, but the darkening medium works perfectly as a period walnut ink. You may need to add some gum arabic to it depending on desired flow.
