Compared to traditional veneers, it is exceptionally easy to manage. There are no holes, it doesn't crack, it's highly flexible. You can easily cut it with kitchen scissors or a craft knife, so predictable quality pieces are easy to make.The price is excellent for the amount you get.The only drawback I've found is that you should plan on using contact adhesive or other non-wet solvent glues. Traditional wood glue produces a rippled finish (often also the case with thin traditional veneers to be fair) because it soaks the wood. Given this is so thin, it does suffer from wrinkling more.The grain is fairly open, I've found it will take a coloured stain easily (does tend to bleed through, again, a product of the thinness), so can take a couple of coats to get an even finish.Varnish and sanding back are easy enough, given again, it is much stronger, but it is easy to sand right through it!Overall, excellent, but do be aware of what working on 0.25mm thickness really means... I was a bit optimistic at times!

Not used it yet, I'm only an amateur DIY er, but this veneer feels like it should be able to be fitted quite easily, it's not as brittle as ordinary veneer! A lot cheaper as well, time will tell!
