I have a masters degree in art and have been an artist ever since middle school. I’ve always been on the cutting edge of art in one way or another and have had exhibitions all over the country. Then AI came along so I had to try that and was/am very impressed with what can be done after learning the proper cues to generate an image in concert with my intent. After generating images and being excited by the results, I decided to take a bit of a turn at that point. I thought to myself, “what if I converted these AI images into very faint OUTLINE black and white representations, and then color them myself using my knowledge of coloring and painting techniques”? I had to go with the idea. I went on Amazon to see what Amazon has to offer with respect to coloring tools and media and found out about CASTLE ARTS. Actually I had heard of the company before, but had never used any of its products. After investigating its products which include soft touch colored pencils, watercolor pencils and watercolors, acrylic and oil paints in tubes I decided to go for the soft touch colored pencils and watercolor pencils to start with. I was blown away by the quality, ease of use and seemingly infinite number of color combinations that could be made from a simple set of 72 colors and bigger sets to choose from. I also bought an electric pencil sharpener that has a variable point sharpness, which is very important. In my opinion, there is no company that offers higher quality tools and media for artists but what makes it even more amazing is that the price is so reasonable. Curators have seen my works and I’m already getting invitations for exhibitions. Thank you CASTLE ARTS for your great products and your reasonable prices.

Ils ont tout des grands mais pas totalement, ce ne sont pas des polychromos de Faber-Castell mais si approchent, ça me permet d'économiser mes crayons hauts de gamme, permettent aussi de s'offrir de bons crayons aquarelables à un prix raisonnable. J'ai la boîte de 120 mais je me suis achetée la boîte botanique pour avoir sous la main tous les crayons indispensables pour la botanique. Ça ne m'empêche pas de prendre d'autres couleurs dans ma grande boîte castle arts aquarelle ou d'autres marques, j'aime mélanger les crayons de différentes marques car chaques marques ont des teintes différentes, je prépare ça la veille de dessiner, je les ai eu en promotion c'est pour cela que j'ai craqué. Belles couleurs, bien emballés, pas de casses, se tailles bien et parfait en aquarelle, mine grasse mais assez dure pour les détails, faire des essais avant d'entreprendre vos dessins pour trouver la couleur idéale. Aucune mines cassées. Très bon nuancier. Très bonne surprise. Je recommande.
