Decent protein, price increases by £2 every couple of months
This pea protein is decent, clean, mixes well. I took a star off because in March 2025, it was 15.95, in May 2025, it had gone up to 17.95, now in July 2025, it’s 18.95…. Perhaps by the end of the year it’ll be 20.95…. a 30% price increase within a year Think I need to find another option.

Blend/flavour wisely!
Day 2 and success blending/flavouring. The trick is to recognise this is peas, and you're going to be consuming pea soup. Whatever makes a pea soup delicious will make this taste good too. (Edit - mixing it with cold water first, stops the dreaded clumps). What worked for me was basically starting with a salty 'oat groat' porridge (perhaps barley would do too, perhaps other vegetables) as the base. Soaked oat groats overnight, then simmered with enough water (and a latex overboil protector lid) for 45 mins. Let it cool a little, then added my 30g pea powder. Stirred in well with wooden spoon. No lumps - yay! Added more water, simmered a bit, reduced a bit, had a little bit of thickness, not much. Ate. Actually darn OK, nice even. Day 1 yesterday was gruelling (no pun meant) because yuck. Normal porridge of simmered overnight oats. Added pea powder at end when super hot. Had hard lumps but the worst thing was the strange bitterness. I salted the porridge afterwards a bit. Not as much as day 2. It took a half hour to eat, not pleasant. I was unnaturally satiated for a striking number of hours. Let's see if that works with the groats.

A good find
Mixes well. I mix it with my coconut milk, so it helps it to taste nice.

Natural, slightly gritty (but worth it)
It requires a bit more mixing and flavouring but overall a good vegan protein powder. I've been searching for a natural vegan protein without additives and this does the job. The flavour is good too, unlike other pea proteins I've tried, doesn't taste of peas and mixes well.

An acquired taste
I don't like this at all. It's so strong in pea flavour that it overwhelms everything. I bought it to use in broths or savoury dishes but I can't get used to it. I'll definitely use it so as not to waste it/my money but will not purchase again.
