I wanted something that was light to practice overhead throws with. This does the job just fine. I accidentally overfilled it to 18 pounds but it holds up perfect. So far it hasn't leaked any sand and that's with tossing it 20 feet in the air.

I purchased one of these for the specific purpose of using various amounts of weight and for the "softness" of the item. I have other, iron kettlebells but wanted something that I could change the weight according to my needs. You can fill these with sand, or even sand/2.5 pound standard plates, etc. to make them useable over a wide range of weights. The material is tough, it doen't leak (I admit I was a little worried about that). You may find a compromise compared to regular, iron steel kettlebells in that the handle flexes and moves about a bit - but that doesn't bother me. Very good product and I'd buy more from this producer.

I had an old weighted vest that I used to use, but it started to fall apart. However the weight was adjustable, and came in small nylon bags that weighed just about a pound apiece. So I just dropped the required number of bags in the KB with no mess, or leakage. It works fine. Worth the price as far as I'm concerned.

These are great. I ended up buying more bags direct from Meister when they were sold out on Amazon. I put 5lbs of sand in zip lock gallon bags and layered the zip locks in the Meister bags. It helps keep sand from sifting through the Meister bag (which shouldn't normally happen but might develop after prolonged use). Also, I overloaded the Meister bags by 5lbs (10 --> 15, 15 --> 20, 20-->25) with no problems. If I want to go back, I just pull out a zip lock bag. Great for kettlebell swings and regular lifts. The handles pinch once in a while, but I've learned to watch out and I still highly recommend the product despite that quirk. The roll-and-clip style of the handle also means there's some instability, which will benefit your lifting as your body works to overcome the slight destabilization. If these weights are "light" for you, that feature will help to validate your decision to buy. I've had these over 6 months, use 3-5 times a week, and I'm very happy with this purchase. Oh yeah - sand not included. But 50lbs of sand costs about $3 at Home Depot.

I filled mine with 2 bags of fish-aquarium pebbles (5 lb bags) and it was a good fit. I like the way it handles, but with some of the exercises, it's a little too big and swings too much because it has no rigid handle. But I like it overall!! Great for travel. I just buy the bags of pebbles wherever I am, and then dump them on the ground when I leave. They're cheap.

I have tried many other sand kettlebell bags. Every other one has the sand leak out. Now not that the sands was leaking out of the bag due to a rip in the material. It is the puff of sand dust that comes out from most outer bags. This material does not allow for that. Extremely durable.

I would have given them 5 stars but the clips are plastic & wished they were metal. But easy to fill & they weighed out perfectly. Bought 10lb, 15lb & 20lb bags. Wife loves them. Ty

I’m actually using this kettle bell sandbag as a chalk bag it’s waterproof and large enough to fit all the chalk you would need and because of the flat bottom it will sit on the floor without tipping over it makes a great chalk bag for a small workout room and can be folded and close to throw in a bag without spilling! some chalk bags are as much as $100 this is far more economical and useful, excellent product !

Very comfortable to grip. I fill mine with a selection of ankle weights to get the weight I want. This also means I can adjust the Meister very quickly during a workout – heavier or lighter. This product takes up much less space than a set or selection of kettle bells and it folds flat. I can slip the Meister onto my ankle for laying abductor exercises too (outside thigh). It’s very easy to grip for smaller female hands. I have an 8 kg iron kettle bell and find the grip too large to do overhead moves – but the Meister is ideal. It offsets in exactly the same way as a cast iron KB. Ticks all my boxes. Great value. I highly recommend.
