No. 9 Cleaning Kit with Aluminum Rod, Universal Pistol

I used this to clean and oil my Glock 42 and Glock 19. A little will go a long way so be sure to not use too much product. I will have this product for at least 6 months to a year before I need to buy more since I only have 2 pistols that I don’t fire often.

This is a good product for absolute beginners to get their feet wet (and their hands oily). I recommend buying additional patches straight away as the kit comes with very few. The aluminum rod feels sorta flimsy and the end attachments are of cheap feeling plastic but so far, I haven’t had any issues with the system and I’ve used it at least 5-6 times. Both the solvent and lubricating oil are nice products and work well. The oil is thin and works it’s way into everything so less is more. If you’re new to firearms cleaning, it’s a worthwhile kit at $7 (what I paid) to get started and grow with. Also makes for a good light duty mobile cleaning kit. Just dump everything into a lidded container and drop it in to your range bag.

Can clean both pistols I have the dranger and the 357revolver

My primary cleaning rod was a universal set; pistols, rifles, shotguns. However, you had to attach at least one extension rod to use it, and that was way too long to easily use on handguns of any caliber. So I bought this as I could not find just the rod alone. Do wish it was better material than aluminum though, brass was my first choice but could not find it in this size.

This kit didn't contain and detailing tools such as a pick or brush also it didn't come with a brass barrel brush. Overall it has some good items in it but could contain a few more tools.

Nice little package that contains everything needed except brushes. Stores in the package with minimal wasted cost. Add brushes to the purchase and you are in good shape for cleaning.
