I was replacing the wiring in an old retaining wall. The plastic box built into the wall, for the electrical outlet, was in good shape, but all mounting holes were broken and unusable. I bought this set and used two of them. They worked, providing a strong and (I hope) durable anchor.

Our house has the standard outlets and this particular product was far from sizable to the correct size no matter which direction it was attempted to be installed. I know what you’re thinking… why didn’t you measure the inside of your outlet box prior to buying… we did. We purchased this product to help us with a difficult situation where the original owner of the house installed tile OVER half of the outlet box that needs replaced, not this product’s fault, but we had hoped to spend the money on this supposedly handy item rather than having to cut into tile to replace the box and afterwards try to find a way to cover the massive gaping hole that will appear that cannot be covered by ANY outlet cover once the outlet box is removed. It’s clearly true that you get what you pay for not only in this product, but our house…
