Pretty cool idea they came up with here. I got one for my officers size pistol and another one for my commander. They fit well, look good and hold the light on both of them securely. Using the same holster for both.

Very happy with the quality of this item. I will say that it does point anything attached to it down. Shimmed the back a little and it was good.

Does not fit Llama MiniMax 45. Trigger guard and screw holes on the grip are different. Manufacturer did not use the Llama as one of its test platforms. Not the seller's fault. If you are considering this, look hard at your pistol and the pictures of this item. It can't fit everything, too many different compact 1911 style 45s with slightly different configurations. All in all, it looked good and I would have been happy with it if it had fit my pistol.

This grip did not fit the compact kimber and was closer to fitting the full size 1911 but bottom hole does not line up and the grip won't come together.

very nice. Makes the grip a wee bit wider but does add the picatinny rail for adding accessories to your 1911. Be forewarned though. . . your existing holsters probably will no longer work after installing.
