I thought the size listed was the whole thing, not just the blade. Really good knife though.

I love this wild style, makes me feel like a warrior when I cook. The blade, leather sheath, and case are all as good as how it looks in the pictures. Weight and handle feel good in my hand. Compare to my German-style knife which is heavier with thicker blades, this one is more dexterous. Sure it's also very sharp. It's a nice knife for outdoor uses or to offer as a gift, I can see how much effort and thought went into it, especially on the wood and body's texture detail. Would buy more in the future, as birthday gifts for my relatives who love to cook and yard BBQ. And I'm fully aware of not putting it into the dishwasher due to the wood handle, which will need me to hand wash and dry it, a little bit disappointing but still ok with it.

My sister hit a deer Tuesday with her car and asked if I wanted it. The knife worked great, but the sheath didn't hold up well. The upper stap for the handle didn't make it out of the ditch. I'm not sure when it fell off somewhere between taking the knife out and putting it back in.As you can see by the picture, the strap for the blade won't last much longer, certainly not another trip in the field.TL:DRVery pleased with the knife, but sheath is poor quality. For the price point, I'm still very pleased with this purchase.

Pretty cheap price, but cuts like an expensive one. I didn't think much of it when I ordered it, was more a "just try it" situation, but I'm impressed. Very sharp, stylish knife. Even used it to carve the New Years Eve prime rib. ONLY thing I didn't care for was the holster quality, but, it's about the knife, not what holds it. Holds very well in the hand for a "uni-hand" handle. Awesome job🤙🏽(it wouldn't let me add a photo of the meal, sorry)

This knife is a bit lighter in weight than I had expected, but is full-tang and solidly constructed. Maybe lighter weight will enable a bit of flex at the tip, which would be beneficial in a boning knife.I'll likely be using it primarily for "small work" in camp cooking (with a serbian knife for "big work"), and don't know if much boning will be involved.
