Comfortable, waterproof and durable.
I purchased these boots as a lightweight hunting boot. I needed something non-insulated for early hunting season that would accommodate a extra wide foot. These hiking boots fit the bill perfectly. Not only are they comfortable and waterproof they are true to size and durable. Extremely happy with my purchase.

Value and comfort
Quality hiking boots. Good workmanship and slip resistance soles. Good padding and price.

Good boots, bad laces.
These boots are very light weight, good fit in both length and width (15W), flexible despite the fairly thick soles and comfortable. On the downside, the deep square grooves in the soles are serious mud magnets. The real negative is the laces. Nylon, really Skechers? There’s a reason shoe laces have been made of cotton for 100 years, they stay tied!

Great purchase
Bought these when I needed a pair of inexpensive winter boots, after spending an hour doing online research and looking at other options. Couldn’t be happier. Sizing is very true, and the boots are extremely comfortable and wearable out of the box.

Review after 75 Miles of Hiking
Below is my review after 75 miles of hiking. For context, I've owned these boots for a few months, and all of my hiking was done in the San Tan mountains of Arizona. The trails there are a mixture of hard-packed dirt, rocky sections, sand, and steep rocky inclines with loose sand and gravel (e.g. Goldmine Mountain). Grip: 5/5 At first, looking at the photos in the listing, I wasn't sure about the grip, but the boots have done well on rocky inclines as well as sections with loose sand and gravel. Ventilation/Cooling: Neutral. I hike in Arizona where temps are normally on the warmer side. I haven't really noticed a difference in this category in the different boots I have owned. No complaints. Durability: 4/5 Overall they are holding up well. I'm not concerned about stepping on jagged/spiked rocks as the boots seem to be fairly tough, and the sides and laces are solid. There is a small section where the sole is starting to separate as shown in the photo, which seems premature, but otherwise the boots have been solid. Weight: Neutral. The boots are light and durable at the same time. No complaints. Comfort: 5/5 My goal with hiking boots is to not have to think about them when hiking, whether that means being concerned about durability, or having pinch points that poke into my feet. These boots are very comfortable, and don't hurt my feet at all. Quality: 4.5/5 Other than the small separation noted above, the boots are holding up very well after hiking many rocky trails. The tread and grip are great, and the overall construction of the materials, lace holes and laces appears to be high quality with no issues so far. The bottom line is that I have full confidence in these boots, and if this same model is available when my current boots wear out, I would buy the exact same boots again. Hopefully this information is helpful to others.

Good comfortable boots, loved them 'til they leaked
When my old Rocky chukkas started leaking after years of good service I needed new boots that would keep my feet dry. I walk a couple miles a day in [usually] wet grass, shallow streams , puddles etc. Didn't want to spend a fortune on them either. These boots are exceptionally comfortable right out of the box, and after three weeks have yet to leave me with wet feet. I don't know if they'll last for years but they show no wear at all as of yet. Good boots at a very good price point ! Update: 6 weeks later I am sorry to report the boots are no longer waterproof. My usual mile walk in dewy grass left me with wet feet and socks you could wring out. No apparent damage to boots which still look good and are otherwise comfortable. Great boots if you live in the desert. Very disappointed. Take two stars off. Update: Sorry to report that 6 weeks later they are no longer waterproof. My usual one mile morning walk in wet grass leaves me with wet feet and socks you can wring out. No apparent damage to boots, they still look good and are comfortable, just wet. Very disappointed. I guess they're still 5 star if you live

Dad & Husband Approved!
My dad has the tan-colored Skechers Relment Pelmo hiking boots, which prompted me to get the grey ones for my husband—and they haven’t disappointed! Great fit, comfortable, and very durable.
