Comparing this to a traditional iron, this is fantastic. Makes ironing 10 times easier/quicker. The large water tank means that you can get through an entire load of ironing without having to refill and the constant steam power makes ironing so quick and simple. I used to dread ironing but now I oddly look forward to it.

This iron is fantastic, I've had a LOT of steam generators over the years but the steam power of this one is incredible, creases literally melt away with little effort. I love that there is no temperature control because my teenagers and 'useless at ironing' husband can relax knowing they won't burn anything. It feels very high quality, is easy to fill and is actually quite light and compact. The cord storage and lock work brilliantly. Only tiny issue is that the power button is right where you hold when ironing and it occasionally switches off when you are ironing due to pressure put on it but you honestly notice right away and just press it back on. I've long coveted a polti and I'm not disappointed. It was a great deal so I'm really happy with the value for money.

The iron worked fine for a while I used the water additive as instructed, but after about seven months I noticed after about 25 minutes of ironing, it ran out of steam. this got worse. I phoned Polte they made every excuse up that it was my fault.. I did what they told me to do. However they said if I send it in it will take up to 3 months to be repaired. This is totally not acceptable for a very expensive iron.. I have been using steam generator iron for over 23 years so I know what I’m doing. They even said using filtered water. It’s not a good idea and will affect the iron. This is impossible..

I bought this in 2021. It was amazing. Very strong steam power lightweight overall. The problem is that the steam hundle doesn't work anymore and you cant find official Polti center in UK. So for now I will go back to steam iron cause I am not willing to give the same money for this.

I love my new steam generator iron. It is so much better than any other I have had before. The temperature control is good and its water capacity is great!

I treated myself to this iron and found the steam function quite good but I've only had it since late July 2025 and the steam function has stopped working already mid September 2025. I don't iron that much unless it's needed so can't say I have had great use of the iron. I am looking for troubleshooting and can't get it working. I also bought the anti scale treatment that's recommended by the company. Hopefully sending back and getting a replacement :( I have since contacted Politi and I was told not to use the anti scale treatment for this iron although it's listed on Amazon as bought together and that the distilled water of comfort ironing water is not suitable either!! They have replaced the iron without any Fuss and recommended that I read the manual again. Which I most definitely will however I'm wondering what the cost will be to continue to purchase demineralised water with tap water depending on hardness of your water supply!

Bought this iron recently and so far very pleased with its power and performance. There’s only one heat level so it’s simple to use and has very good steam output. Not sure how it would perform on delicate items yet but compared to my last iron (Tower) which was terrible, this Polti iron seems great and good value for money.
