I USE IT OUTSIDE!
I use the 20 meter for my man cave running through the back garden (even though it’s not rated for outside) works perfectly! Even with the storms we’ve had

Review
Just to point out it works and had no problem with the installation of it but the only drawback because the ethernet wire is so long not only will you have mbps dropping it has also created a package burts problem but it doesn't matter much if you have high enough Mbps and download speed but not everyone has so if suggest looking into something that won't have so many drawbacks.

Regarding 100 Mbps Speed Complaints
This review is based on the 30m Cat 6 version which Amazon flags as an item that's frequently returned. Having seen that warning I checked previous customer reviews and noticed a number saying that after plugging in the cable they were limited to a speed of 100 Mbs when the cable should support gigabit speeds when connecting suitable devices. The bulk of reviews didn't mention this issue so I thought it was worth taking a chance as surely if the cable wasn't actually a Cat 6 cable capable of gigabit speeds then more people would be reporting that. Once I received the cable I connected a gigabit port on my router to the 2.5 Gbps port on my desktop and... Windows reported a network speed of 100 Mbps. Not happy Jan. Disabling all power saving modes didn't help and switching from auto negotiation to forced 1 Gbps full duplex didn't help. My old short Cat 6 cable gave me a gigabit connection but this one was stuck at 100 Mbps even though Cat 6 can easily do gigabit over 30m. So I was irritated and about to request a refund but then thought that I should do another test using a different machine. So I verified that my laptop received a gigabit connection to the exact same port on my router using its current short Cat 6 cable and then switched the cable over to the new 30m one at which point the laptop still reported a gigabit connection. I then connected the cable from the router to a gigabit switch and plugged my desktop into the switch using its old short Cat 6 cable and Internet speed tests were showing downloads in the 900 Mbps range (Openreach Full Fibre) which wouldn't be possible if the cable was limited to 100 Mbs. I don't know why but for some reason a Realtek 2.5 Gbps integrated NIC just won't negotiate a gigabit connection when connected directly to this cable but an Intel gigabit integrated NIC (Killer E2600) will as will my Netgear GS308 gigabit switch. Using the 30m cable as the backhaul for the switch and connecting the Realtek NIC to the switch using a different cable still gives me a gigabit connection at each link, it's just when the 30m cable is connected directly to the Realtek NIC that there's a problem. Other Cat 6 cables give me a gigabit connection on the Realtek NIC so it wouldn't surprise me if the compatibility issue is being caused by Gulaey cheaping out on something but overall the cable can work at gigabit speeds in the right setup.
