New & Improved Smoking PRO - Smoke Detector/Fire Alarm Tester

This device will administer smoke for detector function tests. A great tool when the AHJ want ALL DEVICES ACTIVATED. Save hours of ladder time, especially multi floor buildings. Using an extension broom or mop pole you can access 18-20 Ft ceilings with ease.

Magnets holds canned smoke securely. Just press gently against center of detector to release puff of smoke, wait for alarm, then "pump" to air out the chamber. I quickly removed can of smoke before airing it out to ensure I didn't accidentally add smoke again. Tested several detectors mounted on 14' vaulted ceiling. Significantly less expensive than Solo tester. Just pair it with a telescopic pole for the height you need. I was waiting to review this until I actually used it. For me, it was a good purchase. It's not fancy like some of the more expensive one's, but it works just as well. Little magnet holds the can in place, and you don't need to carry a can of air to clean the smoke detectors. What a wonderful testing device.

I bought this with the expectation it would not work. I was wrong. I've been in the Fire trade for 35 years. This is the best design I've used. For the price it well worth buying. Cheap enough to keep one on every truck. This is a win,

Smoker works great. It has saved me so much time and work while doing inspections and testing. Would recommend to anyone who does smoke detector testing.
