Bags are made from heavy-duty material that feels very durable and well-stitched
I purchased the ABCCANOPY Photography Sandbags to add stability to my light stands and tripods, and I couldn’t be happier with the quality and performance. These bags are made from heavy-duty material that feels very durable and well-stitched—definitely built to last through regular use, whether in a studio or on location. Each bag has dual compartments that make it easy to evenly distribute weight, and the zippers and hook-and-loop closures ensure everything stays secure. I also appreciate the strong handle on each bag, which makes positioning them around my gear quick and effortless. I’ve even used them outside with a camping chair and tent on a windy day, and they held up perfectly. Overall, these sandbags are a great value—solid construction, versatile usage, and they do the job exceptionally well. Highly recommended for photographers, videographers, or even anyone needing extra weight for outdoor setups.

Decent quality
Decent quality. Seem like they should last. Used to put weight on my PhotoBooth at events.

Great for an anchoring need
Bought these to anchor my Halloween decorations, keep them from blowing over. They work great! Rain/snow doesn't hurt them, they are easy to move and carry, and big enough to do the job. I can definitely see these working for patio furniture, tents, tripods, etc. The amount of sand/rocks you put in can vary depending on what you need. Sturdy construction. Would definitely recommend.

Good heavy duty Construction... but skimped on the Carabiner size (too small)
When I had ordered these bags on Amazon had not read some of the reviews stating that they leak sand. Since all sandbags eventually get some small holes or rips in seam it was recommended to me to use pea gravel. Which I did and picked up a half cubic yard at the Home Center. But to also make it easier I put the gravel into gallon Ziplocs before putting it into the sand bags. This way if I need to take my equipment with me on a aircraft I can pull the Pebbles out easily and leave them at home instead of paying for overweight fee. Then pick up some Ziplocs and Pebbles at location. Placed 5 lb of Pebbles in each ziplock on both sides of the sandbags so the sandbag weighs a total of 10 and 1/2 pounds. Personally I find this is a good weight and manageable for transportation. The sandbags are a good heavy duty Construction and the double zippers secures the pebbles well. Was disappointed using the sandbags this weekend. Had set up the backdrop frame and lights. Went to hook on the carabiner to the stand and it was too small to fit around the base tube. They supplied medium carabiners when they needed to supply extra-large carabiners. Had to disassemble the backdrop. Remove umbrella and lights to slide the sandbag Loop over the stand tube. Then reattach the lights and umbrellas to the stand. And reattach the horizontal bar with the backdrop to the backdrop stands. Removed the carabiners and will repurpose them. Since black is not a typical color you can buy with carabiners won't be buying new ones when you can just slide the strap over the tube during setup. Since sand bags are heavy and can damage your equipment if carried together. The sandbags together weigh over 40 lbs will cause a stitch to rip in a carrying bag. Picked up a black bucket and a screw-on lid for around $12 at the Home Center. The four sandbags fit perfectly inside the five gallon bucket. And the screw cover gives you easy access. This is the best solution I found for carrying the sandbags. Figured out how to get double duty out of the bucket used to carry the sand bags. Made a seat to fit on to the bottom of the bucket and use the bucket as a stool for the subject to sit on while taking photos. ***update 2018*** Because my son is so tall the current backdrop stand only leaves a small sliver above his head making for an awkward crop. Purchased Limo Studio AGG1112 backdrop stand 8.5 ft tall. While out shopping ran across 4.5 inch carabiners with padding for a dollar each. Just wish They were black! The dark blue will probably do fine. They just barely fit around the one inch (25 mm) base tube on the stand. Most stands this tall have a 1.4 inch or 35 mm base tube. So you'll need a 5 to 6 inch carabiner... of course you can still resort to using the strap over the stand before attaching lights or crossbar. ***update 2019*** Since we have 8 stands, considering purchasing another set, even though we typically only use 2 for the backdrop stand and 3 to 4 for lighting. So I've been 1 to 2 short on sandbags, but was shooting indoors so no problem with the Wind blowing over stands. While at the sporting good store found a black baseball bucket which is slightly taller for around $12. Pretty sure the same lid will fit on to this baseball bucket. Will end up with two sizes of buckets but this gives me two options to use in photography for the subject to sit on.

Great Bags. Heavy Duty. Love the colors.
These bags are pretty great. They are heavy duty and have lasted me the last couple summers camping. I use them to weigh down LED light tripods. Found in the reviews to fill ziplock bags and put those inside. That has worked so far. Filled them with pea gravel from so lme old sandbags I had. Good weight and flexibility.

Glad i bought them
These are sturdy and do the job. I like the double zipper a lot! Once you put the sand in, zip the first one, then the second zipper seals in the first zipper. Flip it over once filled and it has a handle to easily carry the filled bag where you want it to go. They are made to be portable to fill and empty for easier packing on camping trips and such but I use them for more of a permanent fixture. That is why I wanted ones that were decorative. I have MS and recently bought a snack table that is made to go under the legs of a chair to hold the base of the snack table in place. My lift chair doesn't have legs since it is a solid square base there was nothing to hold the snack table steady. I filled these bags and laid them on the bottom base and they keep the table steady when I am moving the top around for various uses. And because they are decorative, they don't clunk up my livingroom.

Works well, but missing pieces
These work great, but they didn’t come with the plastic sealable bags as advertised in the description and pictures. Bags still work great, but be aware of this is you are intending on using these with sand.

So what is "The best possible compliment to a seller"? Easy you buy it again. That's what I did. I bought four of these sand bags. I loved the design. I loved the handles as I'm moving them around constantly. I love the clip/clasp thing. i love that they're double zipped. And they look cool. So I went and bought another four the next week. I've been using them for three months now and wonder how I ever got along without them.

These little sandbags are really perfect. I did what another reviewer said and filled large ziploc bags with pebbles and then stuffed them inside the sandbags but I think you could just as easily fill the bags directly and nothing would fall out. They have a double zipper on each side - they go in opposite directions so everything is locked up tight. If you are going to use the bags then don't fill them too full or you won't be able to stuff them inside the saddlebags. You need to squish them a bit so they fit. All around these seem super sturdy, well made and solid. I think they were a good buy.
