Westinghouse 4650 Peak Watt Portable Generator, RV Ready 30A Outlet, Gas Powered, CO Sensor

It's worked great so far. Its obviously well designed and efficient. We are using it as a source of electricity in the workshop and as a backup. The remote start is great for when the power is out and it's freezing out.

We used this to power a large RV on a week-long trip, and it worked great. Really made our trip better. Assembly was easy. It was easy to start. Not deafening by any means but not quiet. Heavy, but manageable for my husband, or me and one teen.

We bought this generator for the current and upcoming hurricane seasons. The product is exactly as described and we love the dual fuel option as well! The design is practical and its perfect size makes it easy to store. The generator itself is very user-friendly, and the manual is easy to follow if extra guidance is needed. This generator came with all must-need accessories, some of which included: a small bottle of engine oil, a small bag of tools, and the adapter for the propane. We were lucky and found this on Prime Day, but the quality is worth the original price. More to come when the generator gets put to use! Thank you, Westinghouse! ☺️

Great generator overall. Can run for hours on end even with the A/C going in our pop up camper. Not too loud, but not the quietest either. If it is not on level ground it will not start sometimes, but easy fix. Also in direct hot sun (90 degrees +) for several hours it does overheat. Normally does fine in the shade.

Needed a generator for my construction project. This one was great value and works great! Only one downside is that it is a little loud.

Bought it when we got a new place as a few months before we had a massive snow warning and we lost power while it was cold. They reported power outages may be a thing during the snow storm. Luckily for us we only lost power for an hour at night, but many people were out of power for a few days. So when we got ourselves our own place out in the country and we have a toddler I made the purchase of a generator so we wouldn't be without power if it happens again. This generator was a good price, everything seems to be in order. Just got it set up on our back deck. It's one of those plan ahead and have it and hope we never need it rather than need it and not have it. During the power outage in the snow storm every place was sold out of generators and you had people selling the ones they bought for a lot more. It seems easy to use, It's gas powered , and easily movable (with two people or on a dolly). It comes with oil (gas was sold separately so buy yourself a gas can). It doesn't come with a cover but it gives you a bonus to register your generator and get a free cover. That's great.

So far, so good! Easy to put together. I purchased the wheel kit and everything you need to assemble is included. Also included is the oil you will need. Very clear instructions. I have not used the generator yet so I cannot comment on that. Generator was shipped and arrived quickly after placing my order.

Heavy product out of the box but after that it’s downhill. Easy to assemble the few parts. Add oil, connect battery. Connect propane. Turn on the switch and press start. Second attempt it fired right up. Could be a bit quieter but it’s not bad (at least on propane). Haven’t put gasoline in it yet but it looks and runs great. The remote is a sweet bonus!.

Update: I eventually got it working with quick start in the carb. Several shots and starts and it finally started pulling fuel through the fuel lines. Works well now. I followed all the directions for setup and starting and trouble shooting. Still it will not start. No reply from the manufacturer and no help from Amazon. I don't recommend this product. I suppose I will be able to find a mechanic to diagnose and fix it, but that's not reasonable.

It was quieter than I expected.

This has been nothing but a bad experience from the minute I received the generator. Damaged good during shipping. Reply is we don't cover shipping damage. Why offer it then? Amazon has washed there hands of this transaction. Even thought they sell and ship the product and it is offered on prime. I am stuck with the generator so I was told to go thru the start up procedure. I did that. The generator only works on propane and will not start on gasoline. The Manufacturer has told me to fix the generator by taking apart the carburetor and try fix the stuck fuel valve. Is this what you expect when you buy a new generator?? Completely unacceptable to treat your customer like this. Amazon and Westinghouse should be ashamed of them selves. I bought the generator off amazon where it was offered as a prime product. Amazon sells and delivers the generator but will not accept responsibility where they messed up. Damaged shipping. The manufacture will not fix there piece of junk. I need to. that is not right! DO NOT PURCHASE THIS ITEM OR ANY WESTING HOUSE PRODUCTS AND MAKE SURE WHAT YOU BUY CAN BE RETURNED EVEN IF IT IS A PRIME ITEM. I am really disappointed - I thought Amazon stood behind the products they sell. Not so!
