The shampoo has this specific earth-like smell, because of the real ginger root being in the bottle, but it is only noticeable while you are washing your hair. Once it is dry, there is no more gingery root smell. Mores o, if you are using a conditioner. The quality of the product is great, I love all Daeng Gi shampoos, usually, I use the honey and herbal series and decided to try this one too. For my hair specifically, which is straight/long/light/dry this shampoo is ok, but I prefer the two above in combination with the respective series conditioner. I did not try the Ginseng Blossom series conditioner though with this shampoo to have a final impression of the product.

This is my 3rd year only using this shampoo. Used to have dandruff but literally no more itchy, dry scalp.

We love the shampoo, and the root is perfectly weird. The real keeper is the dispenser; it is a product unto itself. I have these now filled with soaps, cat shampoo, etc.

Amazing shampoo with a real ginseng root in the bottle! Exquisite scent and luxurious treatment for your hair! Leaving hair silky and shiny! This is my first time using it and so far I haven't regret spending some good money on it!)
