It is easy to open (just pull up on the sides of the lid) and comes with a hatch and scoop to get the food out easily. It also helps prevent critters from helping themselves to the chow. The storage bin is sturdy and easy to clean. I would purchase another in the future - Five stars from me :) I also like that it is BPA Free.

Wow , the fact that I'm this excited about containers is a little bit depressing lol but it's true. I've wanted something to store the big bag of Jasmine rice I get at one of our local bigger bulk stores but I couldn't find one big enough to fit the entire bag and if I did it was to much money. This grain storage container is perfect for storing an entire BIG bag of rice or any other grain for that matter. It'll fit the entire bag. The quality of the container is well made too. Not a cheap plastic that will break. The lid closes tightly and it also comes with a small red scooper for convenience. Extremely happy with this purchase and brand. I've also purchased a few other storage containers and I am just as pleased with each one I've gotten. They're great quality, do the job and are reasonably priced. Really can't get much better than that! (Note; in the photo there's not a full bag of rice in the container, maybe a quarter or more.)

I have 3 dogs - small and 2 medium size and I feed them Fresh Pet; however, having bags in my refrigerator was taking up a lot of space and I am bit OCD about refrigerator organizations. It is just easier. I like to mix together so instead of pulling all the bags out - taking some each - it is easier. Definitely recommend. It fits in fridge very nicely. For those of you who make large meals for large groups, what I like is that it stores and stacks easily....like if I made tamales, it is a great place to place the meat after you make it. You can even store the tamales until ready to place in pot. Definitely recommend.

For dry cat food, good functionality and I like the size. Be warned the capacity is not correct. It holds like 8lbs of dry cat food, not 20lbs, and the scoop is not a full cup, more like 4/5.

I am absolutely in love with this storage box. When it first arrived I was afraid that it was not going to work for my needs, because the design is so compact that it really doesn't look like it would fit as much as it does. However, I was delighted when I discovered that I could fit an entire 5lb bag's worth of rice into this bin. I also love that it opens from the top, meaning I don't need to worry about spilling rice all over my pantry floor.The measuring cup that comes with it is just okay, but that is not why I bought the product. So, I can deal with it for now, but I will eventually replace it for one with more of a scoop design.The lid seems to snap on securely, and when I was turning the box over and onto its side while reorganizing my pantry I felt secure that it wouldn't come loose and spill the contents. The bin itself is made of a very thick, durable plastic, and I am sure that it will last for a long time. I am very happy with this product, and I plan to buy a couple more in the future to help me organize things in my new home.

I bought this a few years ago and love it. It will hold a full 20# bag of rice and the top seals well. It's great to sit in the bottom of a cabinet or pantry and provides easy access through the smaller lid. It has a measuing scoop included which is also a plus. I would highly recommend especially for rice storage.

I bought two of these to use with my dog food. I love the size, shape and ease of use. Easy to refill and to access for daily use. One of the two I bought has a problem with the seal slipping off the dispensing lid. It's difficult to get it back in place. I did not discover the problem within the return window.
