Carhartt Cinch Top Backpack

I bought this backpack for my daughter for school. I wanted something that would hold up to all the books that she has to carry around. This backpack has been amazing! It has stood the TEST OF TIME!! Not one broken zipper, strap, and not even a hole in the fabric! The straps are padded! The inside of the backpack holds a lot of stuff!! So worth the money!!

This backpack is a little expensive but well worth the money. It is very well-made, very durable, and large so it fits very well on an adult. It is durable enough to use for hiking/camping but features plenty of pockets for books and classroom supplies. It also features a padded pocket for a laptop to be carried in the pocket closest to the wearer. My 15" laptop fits very well in the laptop compartment with a little room to spare. This backpack also features a reinforced bottom to prevent damage from an occasional drag against the floor or from sharper objects tearing a hole in the bottom. I believe this bag will last for several years with substantial use.

In years past I was sold on the Carhartt name alone in terms of durability, but as with all good things (and cost reduction measures) I am no longer blindly sold on their name alone. Purchased this as a replacement for computer/travel/carry all bag. I was looking for something durable with a lot of storage compartments. This fits the bill in all areas! I'm certain some laptops could be too big, or at least on the top end of size but works for ours. There are 3 different large compartments so papers and such can be divided up easily. 4 other, smaller, external compartments for cords, pens and pencils, etc. as well as a dedicated pocket on top for glasses that hides away neatly. regarding quality was worried as I'd seen some reviews with bad stitching, or tears in fabric, etc. so far (nearly 6months in) I haven't seen any quality issues show up yet and have packed it substantially for an international trip as my carry on for 2 weeks. Very happy with this purchase!!

I have had this backpack for over 3 years, and I fly almost every week; and this backpack is a little worn but otherwise absolutely no issues or failures. Very good functionality with great quality.

Bought this to replace my old backpack that was provided by my workplace. I was looking for a very specific compartment layout and this one pretty much hit the nail on the head. I've been using it for about 18 months and it's held up very well. Just the right size to fit under airplane seats, divided up with just the right space for my laptop, and large collection of cables and adapters that are needed for work. It gets left on the ground on construction sites, covered in metal shavings, and I just brush it off and go on about my business. Actually, for the amount of use and dirt that it sees, I'm surprised that it still looks as new as it does. My only complaint is that I wish the side pockets were just ever so slightly taller to accommodate water bottles while fully zipped up. This backpack will do it, but I feel it puts excessive strain on the zipper, otherwise I would score it 10/10.

Love all the pockets. I will say the inside is starting to fall apart with minimal use. Im seeing strings come off. The pocket locations are perfect otherwise.

This is my second one. The first one I bought was brown but I’ve had it for probably 5 years now and it still looks pretty new even after 4 years of college. It has help up well. I ordered a second one in gray for work and will probably order another one in camo when I get back into hunting, because they hold up so well!

Quality was great, but I actually returned it because it didn’t fit my personal needs.
