Big surge, big pills
I took one pill with some water and got a real lift from it. It felt like my brain suddenly woke up: not like a drug high, but a definite high. But these pills are HUGE. I almost didn't get the one down, and I can see myself choking on one in the future. So I opened up another capsule to taste it. Not bad at all. I can see sprinkling it onto eggs or into a serving of soup or stew. The ingredients are Lion's Mane mushroom extract (1000 mg from the fruiting bodies, standardized to "min. 25%" Beta Glucans) and methylcellulose, which is a fiber and emulsifier often added to foods like ice cream to thicken them. While there is not daily recommended dose for this product, you are cautioned not to exceed the daily dose of 2 capsules. If you are using another product that has Lion's Mane in it, take that into consideration. Do take the time to research the benefits and risks of taking Lion's Mane before ordering to be sure it's not contraindicated for you. If you have any medical condition, it would be wise to ask your doctor first. Mushrooms can be quite powerful, especially when combined with medications.

Gave me brain fog
This product came highly recommended by my friend. Even her daughter was taking it. When I initially took it, it felt weird. I was forgetting things and having brain fog. I thought maybe my body was adjusting to it, so I continued for a couple more days and the brain fog continued. I was really scared. I was really disappointed becausey friend still swears by it. Different people react differently I guess, Maybe this supplement is not for me.

It doesn't taste right, so I'm not going to consume this supplement.
I ordered two products from this brand and have decided to skip using both of them. The powder in the capsules are very bland. They say they have zero fillers, but they don't taste as expected in that case either. I always open the capsules and taste the powder inside. I look at the color, and smell the powder because most of the products that I take have a known and expected color range and an effect on the tongue, whether it's bitter or has a numbing effect, it's usually consistent. Lion's Mane is a great supplement for brain function, but so many products are just okay. Mushrooms are only as good as the environment and substrate they are grown on. Must the same as the quality of the food, is dependent on the soil and environment that they are grown in. Lion's Mane can be quite amazing though. I'm just not sure about this one. I have had great experiences with stamets products, and they have a very obvious color and taste that I've come to expect along with those great results. 3... just very bland and similar taste and look in different products and formulas.

Not a proprietary blend 👍& is labeled according to FDA requirements 👍👍👍
This supplement doesn't have much to it and that's exactly why its everything I've been looking for. Im not a fan of proprietary blends in any supplement but i even more so try to avoid them when it comes to mushroom supplements. There is a lot of mixed opinions about what portion of the mushroom is the most effective. Fruiting body? Mycelium? Or a blend of the 2? I won't pretend to know the specifics so its probably best for you to read up on the topic & decide what's best for your needs. Personally, I'm interested in the fruiting body of the Lion's Mane variety of fungi. This supplement is just that and ONLY that. Other mushroom supplements I've tried in the past have proprietary blends so I dont know exactly what's in it or its source. When there is only one ingredient, and the source of that one ingredient, the fruiting body, is clearly labeled according to the FDA's requirements for mushroom supplements, it gives me a sense of the manufacturers attention to detail, their quality & ability to keep it simple by not striving for an "everything but the kitchen sink" kind of formula. All of which is exactly what I've been looking. Capsules arent super comfortable going down but thats the case for me with all pills bc I just hate the feeling in my throat. Still not a deal breaker for me. I'm very pleased with this & I'm not going to let my tendency to be a wimp when it comes to taking pills get in my way. I hope my humble opinion helps you in some way. Thank you for reading.

Good Lion's Mane Supplement
I've been taking Lion's Mane Mushroom powder for about over a year solid and find that it has basically no flavor at all. I break apart the capsules and put it in my morning coffee and it's easy to drink. I've done a some research on it and it seems to be a very good supplement and highly beneficial for good health. Here are some the benefits it has: - Enhanced brain functioning - Ability to prevent or slow the growth of cancer - Supports heart health - Helps with depression and anxiety - Potent antioxidant - Reduces inflammation - Boosts immune system - Supports digestive health The only side effect I've been able to find is that it might cause a slight skin rash with some minor itching but is very rare and not considered serious, just irritating. I think this is a very good lion's mane supplement.
