Q: Is this a good all around knife for fishing? I'm not using it for filleting, but as a bait knife or cutting line.

This is likely overkill for fishing unless you're doing it deep in the backcountry. Mora does make a cork-handled serrated knife that might be a better choice for cutting line and bait. Shorter more controllable blade and it floats.

Q: This knife blade is shorter than the mora 2000, is this knife legitimate? According to Amazion, both the Kansbol and 2000 have a 4.3 inch blade.

I have the 2000, the forest and the kansbol. On my knives the size of the blades are identical. The only difference is that the kansbol is a " brushed " stainless steel and the other two are a polished stainless steel.

Q: Does the Garberg fit into the Kansbol sheath?

Yes. The garberg is almost too grip heavy but the sheath still does a decent job.
