yes, the motion sensor ceiling light is Class 2. Class 2 double insulated lights are designed to operate without the need for an earth wire. Can this light be used outside under an open porch

I installed mine in an inside porch but as long as it's attached to the ceiling & cannot suffer from water ingress then I don't see why not! There is nothing on the packaging to suggest that it must only be used internally
