Japan Pron Wedge Set or Single Mens Golf Club

This is my second set from this company and I love playing with them.. I love the look and feel. And the price is very good.. I did not get a club covers this time... maybe they could send it for free.😊

Overall this is a great wedge. This is a "legal" version so the grooves are not real deep, but the surface texture is very aggressive. It's not super heavy. Steeped steel shaft looks good. Grip is fine. I installed a midsize grip. I don't love the shaft, but it's serviceable. Note, this is a low bounce head. I hit one shot with this on a fairly slopped (away) 3/4 shot...the ball rolled about 6' and stopped even though the ball was rolling downhill. I may reshaft with a softer shaft and add a few grams of weight. Even as is it's a great deal. Note when I cleaned this for the first time the metallic paint fill came out of the sole. Strange..

I do not want to say bad things about these wedges, it's not deserving. I have played Cleveland wedges most of my adult life, because they just work for me, with that in mind. I have 3 rounds under my belt with the Pron a 50* and a 54* wedge, I really want to say I love this wedge, but it's inconsistent for me. Feel : Very good Spin: Very Good Distance: I hit it 10 yards shorter than my Cleveland and Taylormade Only thing I find that is of concern, I tend to dig with both Pron wedges, bounce and loft is very similar to current wedges played. Im going to change out the shaft and hope that is the correction needed, I do not believe the quality of shaft is there. Again Im not knocking the Pron wedge, so dont shy away, the feel and spin is as good as any wedge i'v hit.

I've played the wedges for a few months, with a stiff shaft, this price point, and this performance. I don't think you're going to find better anywhere near this price point

I was looking to replace my 60 degree wedge, which I could not hit. I also wasn't happy with my sand wedge, so I split the difference with this 58 degree wedge. This club is well made and has a nice weight to it, which I like. Some of my friends think it's a little heavy, but I prefer that. Seems to instill more confidence, for me anyway. I've used it several times already and can hit it just about the same distance as my sand wedge. It has worked well on the up close chips, over traps, etc., without overthinking it.

This will be the first of two reviews, hopefully I can submit it alter after I've used them. First thing is they are gorgeous, the pics in the item description do not do them justice at all, they look and feel amazing. I cannot wait to try them. I love the grips, they feel like mid-size to large-ish and they feel like pretty good quality so we'll see how they hold. Overall for the price I am very happy with the purchase, we'll see how they perform!

So I bought these wedges twice. One set for me and another for a friend. I'm pretty impressed with these wedges from the beginning. They feel very premium and have a solid weight to them. They have a great amount of spin and the sole of the club is actually sharp so it takes a nice divot. I've had to adjust my chipping game to the spin of these as they tend to bite alot. The bounce on the clubs are great and I really like them. I will upload photos soon.

I’m guessing these are for a decent golf, not a hacker like me. Club heads were too small for my liking, but good quality wedges. Unfortunately, I had to return them.

Straight out of the box the wedges looked like they were great quality particularly for the price. Shafts are solid, grips are great and no different to any of the namebrand grips out there. The club faces look great with the extra "fingerprint" milling to assist with extra spin. On the spin, I took the wedges out my first proper game yesterday, and oh boy do they spin. I am a pretty average golfer and I have never really spun the ball much but shots with these wedges were consistently gripping and spinning back after landing. Granted it was a wet day but given shots with my old wedge would have still hopped 2m plus forward this was super impressive. My playing partner who was, unfortunately for me, usually on the green and watching my shots come in commented a number of times on how much spin they were getting even compared to his vokeys. All in all a great product and proof you don't need to spend the world to have quality kit.

These wedges are fantastic, I love the weight of the clubs easy to hit they look awesome good value you won't be disappointed with them.
