If you're a Harry Potter fan should you even care what my opinion is, you'll get it either way. However, as a fan, I loved being able to dip into the HP world again. It met my every expectation.

One of the most perfect Christmas gifts my 8-year-old granddaughter got! One of the first things she did after she opened the book was run to her craft room, gather various colors of sparkly chenille stems, and create her own wizarding wand. Well worth the money!

Fun overview of Hogwarts for readers who are interested in learning more details/backstory than what's in the HP series. Covers the grounds, the castle and its areas, founders and traditions, Hogsmeade, student life and the castle's staff/inhabitants. Written at a level a 5th-grader can understand, but also hold interest for adults. No pictures/illustrations.

*in french at the end / en français à la fin Very good book, quite complete, unfortunately no illustration. I like that he talks about student life, so some rules in different places. The book is pretty, not damaged during delivery, which was fast. Super livre, aucunement endommagé pendant la livraison, qui fût rapide. Le livre est assez complet, manque d'illustration (aucune dans le livre), mais j'adore quand même. Assez complexe pour quelqu'un qui n'a pas une très bonne compréhension de l'anglais.
