I’ve had Dino traps for years, but I didn’t know they had attractants to go in them. I recently purchased this and put it in my Dino trap in the bottom where it trapped the bugs. Seems to work great. The only thing I’d say is when you open the package to take out the attractant make sure you’re outside cause this stuff smells if you’re within about 2 feet of it you can smell it but farther than that you can’t so it’s great at attracting the bugs you don’t want.

After 20 years of running a Mosquito Magnet Liberty I finally went out and bought a Liberty Plus. This is a really good unit, but I'm talking about the lure. Ran the magnet the first night with no lure and picked up a good bit of brown mosquitoes. Popped the lure in the bottom of the snout (left the cap off) and the next day *MORE* mosquitoes. It's picking up the big brown ones and the small brown ones which fly at night. However it's not attracting the Asian Tigers, which we have here in Maryland. Ug. So I'll run this for awhile and see if I can get one of my old Liberty units working again at which point I'll go back to Lurex (which did work for AT's). But if you have the annoying brown night mosquitoes this will definitely call them into the trap.

This works!! I used this for an indoor trap, & people are not lying to say it "stinks". It smells like the body odor of someone who went for a 5 mile run without any deodorant! However, the mosquitoes LOVE it! FYI: the smell dissipates within a couple days, & it caught every mosquito in my house within a week. I live in Florida where mosquitoes are a year round issue, so I'm always desperate to get rid of dozens of mosquitoes that come in every time I get groceries... that's worth the smell in my opinion! I've used other less stinky versions, but the mosquitoes ignored them & bit me instead. I think the bad reviews are from people who got dried up packs that simply weren't effective. Only bad thing is you get one packet and it's supposed to last 60 days... I personally feel that's stretching it. I think at best it's 45 days, & probably less if you use it outdoors with the elements. For indoor use, it can't be beat!

When you open this packet, be ready for a powerful nasty scent, but it truly does work. If that's what we smell like to bugs, it makes me want to shower even more often! It's very simple. You just pop into the bottom portion of your Dynatrap and that's it. You'll be shocked at how quickly it gets covered up in bugs. The only con is that you might want to wear gloves when cleaning it off as you will need to scrap the bugs off this as they do glom on it. My first round, I used my bare hands, and that smell took quite a few washings to get off. I can't tell exactly every bug it's pulling in because there's such a large amount of bugs on it, but it definitely pulls in moths and mosquitoes really well. I've had it 2 weeks so far, and our canopy tent has been bug free since using it. I've placed this about 15 feet away and having to clean it out every 3-4 days. Worth every cent.
