Apart from having issues with holes not lining up on the trundle bed - which I managed to sort using a dremil, it's surprisingly sturdy. The actual bed frame has more reinforcement than the trundle. Took some time and patience to build - two pairs of hands needed with one clear head! Worth it though. My granddaughters loved it in 'their' room x

Bought this as a guest bed, but also my main bed until I built it. And well a month later I still haven’t built my bed so using it.It’s not too hard to build. Overall the instructions aren’t bad and parts were well labbelled. I built the main bed between two of us and did the trundle solo. Solo building is possible with some challenging balancing of parts. As other reviews state some of the quality control isn’t great. And I did require a fair few whacks of a rubber mallet to get certain parts to join. But certainly doable. Bed feels strong and suitable for adults. And looks nice when in trundle mode. Looks a tad weird as a double bed but think all these sort do.The two beds fit together well allowing for use as a roughly king size bed (a super king bed sheet may have been better.)Of course the slight issue when doing this is the lack of headboard and the fact the trundle is a smidge shorter than the main frame from the outside means pillows get lost down the edge. But not a major issue. Works well as two singles as well.

Item turned up meant to be bed and trundle no trundle. Have been messaging for two days no response. Bed useless without trundle as now mattress laid on the floor under bed.Bed is cheap with the bolts visible on outside. Little red number labels that have stained the white metal. Flimsy pieces at back of bed. Holes didn’t match up and had to be put together with a rubber mallet force. Maybe if seller had been more cooperative this review would not be as harsh ! Feel totally ripped off

After nearly a year, I found the motivation to put this together, was surprisingly easy with just one person. Feels sturdy, and well made

Personally I found the title of 'Daybed with trundle' very misleading. You DO NOT get the trundle, it's just the bed; as stated, as a small afterthought, in brackets at the bottom. Returns are not free, so it makes false economy to pay this & source another set, instead of just buying the trundle from a separate listing (which now niggles at me for having to give the same company more money - I feel a bit conned! 😡 Why could this not be listed once as 'With or without trundle', & the 2 prices?!)I just hate the thought of more buyers being caught out like this.Having said all that: I was pleasantly surprised at the sturdiness of the bed, & it's really cute! My grandkids love it - such a shame I can only have 1 of them stay at a time until I get the trundle!! 🙄 3 stars - would definitely have been a full 5 if it were more clearly/honestly advertised.

Nice bed. Easy to put up and looks nice.

Fairly easy to assemble but there are some large pieces that needs 2 people to assemble. Took about 2 hours to complete. Not bad for a novice!! Although it comes with the additional trundle part to make the bed base, it does not come with a mattress so that needs to be added which obviously increases the price overall. It is however a very useful addition to sleep extra people.

For the price this bed is great. Bought for my 8 year old daughter and she loves it. It's easy(ISH) to assemble with 2 people. Bed itself really easy. The trundle we had some trouble with as the tools provided don't really fit the nuts. Id recommend some pliers to hold the nuts while the screws go in. Overall though really good. As I said my daughter loves it and it's perfect for sleepovers
