Applies nicely and cleans off easily
24 double ended watercolour pens presented in a lovely zipped case, from the world renowned maker Winsor and Newton. This is a basic set according to the description, but I would suggest that that doesn’t do this set justice! You get two tips on each pen, one is a flexible brush tip and the other a fine fibre tip. I chose to scribble a little colour onto my glass crafting mat, and add a water with a slightly damp brush. I used water colour card in the photos, but have also used them on smooth card too. The photo of the little mice show them painted with the same colours, but using a little more water on one to achieve a softer result. Off camera, I also mixed colours very successfully, by scribbling two colours onto my mat, without compromising the nibs, and then using a damp brush to blend. This will, of course, create so many more colours that will allow you achieve just the look you are after. The colour does not bleed through the paper, even with large pictures, I cannot praise these pens enough!

Versatile and lovely
I gave these to my daughter (13) and after watching a few YouTube videos she started producing wonderful patterns and artwork. She says that there is a really good range of colours—and the pens are double ended, a fine end and a brush end. They come in a really nice case with a pocket for paper too. They are easy and satisfying to use. She uses quite a lot of water when she uses them to make bookmarks and backgrounds for verses, and fractal-esque images! She doesn't remember that there were much by way of instructions, but she quickly found help on YouTube. Lovely indeed!

meh
The colours are nice but having only had then a few days one of the colours was already dried out, some put down too much ink, it dries very fast so even trying to blend the edges tugger with a brush you still get a hard line. Don't bother

Perfect for artists! The best watercolour markers on the market!
These ProMarkers by Winsor & Newton are by far the best I have used! The markers are double ended meaning there a different brush tip on either end. One end is more of a thin tip and the other a brush. The thin tip end is perfect for typography, adding details or even for line work. On the other hand, the brush end is ideal for shading, blending between different shades/colours or filling areas with watercolour quickly. The brush ends both provide a consistent flow of water colour and I found that the brush/tip were very durable and wouldn't split, etc. This collection of 24 markers is perfect as it offers a great range of colours and shades. When drawing with these watercolour markers, the colour comes out on the paper quite vibrantly and I found that the application using these watercolour markers was far more convenient, consistent and easier than mixing watercolour yourself the traditional way. I will say that you should keep the caps on either end at all times when not using as otherwise the watercolour inside will dry out. These markers are perfect to use on Winsor & Newtons watercolour paper pad and ideal for both beginners and advanced artists. Fair price considering quality. 5 stars! Thank you for reading my honest review, I hope you found it helpful! :)

Winsor & Newton is a high quality brand, no doubt, but I still questioned whether watercolor markers would produce the kind of effect, blending and color vibrancy I wanted. Happy to say these markers have performed above and beyond my expectations. The colors are stunning. They blend with other colors just as easy as pan watercolors do. They dry just as quickly, yet still respond to minimal blending after the fact. They work well with all the mediums I have tried so far. With the marker the color lays down exactly where drawn and does not bleed out until a wet brush is applied and then the effect is pure watercolor magic. Clean up is, of course, extremely easy as it’s watercolor. I highly recommend these markers to anyone who is a fan of watercolor. They have taken my outdoor watercolor experiences to a non stress level. It’s so much easier to carry the case of markers and my kit of brushes, small bottle of water and watercolor pad and just sit outside and paint. Relaxation at its finest.

I purchased the winsor & newton promarker watercolour marker 24 set. I received the set and found the following problems: The Yellow Ochre market brush tip is missing. The Lemon Yellow marker brush tip has no colour. The Sap Green marker bullet tip is not Sap Green colour and is different from the brush tip colour. I did not expect this poor quality from such a reputable professional art supply company. I am returning it immediately for a refund.
