No, these are not recommended for dental use.

Q: How does this compare with NasalCEASE, a natural based bio-polymer called calcium alginate (which is more expensive)?

I CHECKED NasalCEASE against the Curad, and it seems to be almost identical. I think the price difference is just between the brands. Curad is generally lower in price than other brands across the board.
