Well made, but very heavy, even for a large khukuri.
The blade is extremely heavy because the 3 fullers are very shallow, and the sblade is even thicker than the given 3/8". The knife can have decent balance if gripped as high as possible. The craftsmanship is fairly good, and this khukuri is serviceable if one has good arm strength and technique. However, most people would probably find the 2 fuller 11" Afghan style khukuri more practical. Still, this is a good knife, for the price, if weight is not that big of an issue.

I really wanted to love this knife
I've been eyeing this blade for a while, and finally I pulled the trigger. I was so happy when the kukri arrived. It's beatiful. I was in love. I imediately murdered some boxes. Then, when I was cleaning the shipping oil off the blade, I noticed a crack (circled in red), and my heart broke. I'm usally not a complainer, but this knife is not safe to use. I really wanted to love this knife. It was going to be my best glamping pal, but I can't trust it anymore. It''ll be returned. : (

Was able to return no hassle that's the only good thing
I received an item that had so sharp edges it cut me, and I'm not talking about the blade. The handle and pommel had nasty burrs. Cut me. Returned.
