Swedish Empire Live [Blu-ray]

So far I think that Iron Maiden's Flight 666 is probably one of the best music DVDs that were released in the last 5-6 years. The sound and video quality are excellent and the song list is just pure maiden classic. This DVD is as good, if not better with 2 DVDs and shows from four different venues!There is something to be said about performing in front of 400,000 heavy metal fans at Polish Woodstock and the band's performance is simply superb. The sound is great, video editing is excellent and the atmosphere is simply one of a kind. I could write a six page review, but you have to see this show to fully appreciate it! Watching the band perform Primo Victoria, 40:1, and uprising in front of that many fans....is simply unbelievable. This is probably one of the best, if not the best music DVD I have seen in a long time!!Shipping took over two weeks, but certainly worth the wait!

If you are a Sabaton fan, this is a must have. The concert at the Polish Woodstock alone is worth the price of admission. But there are three other concerts here as well! I bought one for myself, but now I am buying more to give as gifts to friends who have not yet discovered that Sabaton is one of the truly great rock bands around.

great Swedish power metal

This band is becoming of one of the best swedish metal band,s, such as Hammerfall and Europe. The quality of the sound and picture quality is great. This italian edition is PAL format (not NTSC). So you might need to purchase a DVD player like OPPO to play this DVD, or watch it in your computer.

I have been a fan for years and am totally thrilled they finally produced this amazing album! The music quality is great on my home theatre!!

Sabaton are a Swedish metal band who certainly know how to put on a good show. Swedish Empire Live is absolutely fantastic! Swedish Empire Live consists of three performances on two blu-rays The band performs their absolute best on the three separate performances and the input from the fans (especially on DVD1 in Poland) is the best I've ever seen.DVD1 is the main performance at Woodstock Festival in Poland in front of 600,000 excited fans! Sabaton's performance was as usual excellent and the fans were amazing without drowning out the band. The DVD has a clear picture, fantastic vocals and music.DVD1 also include a 'tour mix' which is obviously a selection of their songs from different performances on the Swedish Empire Live tour. This flows perfectly is good to watch.DVD2 has two more fantastic performances that are well-worth watching. The first is in Gothenburg in their home country Sweden and the second is in Oberhausen in Germany. All of their performances the band play perfectly and sound absolutely fabulous. Under the settings of both DVDs there is the option for English subtitles between songs which also translate what Joakim says to the fans in other languages. The songs on DVD1 and DVD2 (Germany) are performed in English as is most of the one in Sweden. There are a few songs on DVD2 (Gothenburg) which are in Swedish. All of the performances are excellent and a pleasure to watch.Sabaton are naturals at performing and they certainly know how to please the fans. It was an excellent performance and I'm looking forward to all their future performances. A good time was certainly had by all.Sabaton mainly write songs about military history. They bring history to life in a very interesting and intelligent way.If you like metal or other decent music you should like Sabaton. Their Heroes On Tour performance is also excellent.

I saw them on this tour, and they were amazing, exactly what a heavy metal band should be like live, and this DVD is as close to being at a Sabaton gig you can get without being there. Only letdown, no Wolfpack! They let the fans choose what songs they do literally by what gets the loudest cheer out of the options they give, so these some difference to every gig, and between the discs, you pretty much get most of the back catalogue. Any Sabaton fan will definitely love watching this.

Fantastic DVD!!! Quality sound, picture and viewing experience!If you love Sabaton, or if you've ever wanted to see them Live, this DVD is a must - absolutely phenomenal! (Not to mention there's more than 3 concerts shown on the 2 discs)[Also, it says Blu-Ray on this article in places: I was after the DVD, and luckily it was the DVD - good luck purchasing!]

Great choice! Amazing DVD, been on Woodstock in Poland and it was great, looks amazing when watching on DVD. Highly recommended :)
