I bought two of these, one for my husband and one for myself. Both mats are very think and provide lots of cushion but are firm at the same time. We are new to yoga, but these mats seem perfect for our needs, very comfy and good quality. 7/8/16 - After using the mats for some time, I can confirm that these were a good buy. I have problems with my knees (due to running) and the typical mats still managed to hurt mys knees. This mat is twice as thick as those typical mats and does not cause me to have any knee pain. I was initially concerned that they would slip around on the floor, but they stayed put, exactly as you placed them. They never moved through hour long yoga sessions. The strap it comes with is an added bonus. It makes it very easy to transport and store. I would definitely recommend this product and plan on purchasing more in the future as they are needed.

Thick mat but probably only good for low intensity exercise. There is no grip to it, so it doesn't stay put if you want to do certain poses. This also causes the mat to stretch out and eventually damage it.

These are perfect for at home use! Me and my Boyfriend use these, I am 5'4 and he is 6'3 and the Length is great for both of us but especially for him :) Very happy to have made this purchase. It allows us to use on the days we are not at the gym. We have hardwood flooring and the thickness is especially great for this. Great quality and Love the fact that they roll back up into the straps for easy storage! We also Love the colors as they are nice, vibrant, and inviting to get in your peaceful mode for yoga and or stretching out before a good work out. Very satisfied and happy as this was a great Buy for us.
