Of all the salts this is probably the healthiest. Only a tiny tiny amount is necessary. Everyone uses waaaaaY too much salt and there is great ignorance about the fact that sodium is naturally in most veg and other food stuffs as is sugar. When we add more it’s too much and the body becomes toxic and sends signals that get ignored or more stuff that does more harm gets chugged back. If you are familiar with homeopathics or aspirin the size is tiny and the effect big. Why would we expect a massive wedge of dessert or etc to not affect us too?

Great taste and so much better than table salt. If the bag arrives with salt blocks, just bash them to produce the salt. No biggie. One thing, if you only use Redmond Real Salt with your food, supplement your body with a drop of iodine in your coffee, as this salt doesn't have the all-important iodine.

This is the real deal. All those flecks of color? Those are MINERALS!! And your body needs them. Our nation has been taught to fear sodium with no discernment of source or form-factor. Unfortunately it's also been feed a steady supply of REFINED white salt. Unlike natural salt, the refined stuff is acidifying and not healthy. My research has lead me to understand that we can consume quite a lot of salt, if it's unrefined and free of toxins. I won't name the amount, but it's more than anyone would normally want to consume. With this stuff I always season to taste with no concerns and no regrets. What about Pink Himalayan, you might ask? Sadly the majority of our supply is cut with substantial amounts of refined white salt. Because it's cheaper and you can't see the difference when they are done. After such a process it's no longer healthy or natural. I'm willing to eat sea salt in purchased products, and hope it's pure and clean, but for my home use (and even when traveling) I rely on Redmonds. And enjoy as much as my tongue calls for with no fear for my wellness. This is the good stuff! They also sell it in tiny travel shakers, though they are unfortunately in plastic rather than glass. Perfect to carry into that restaurant where you didn't really want to touch that big greasy shaker with the bleached white garbage in it anyway! Für mich das beste Salz. Vollständig naturbelassen, passt geschmacklich sehr harmonisch zu allem. „Normales“ Salz schmeckt im Vergleich regelrecht hart. Durch die rosa Mineralien-Einschlüsse sehr gut beim Salzen zu sehen und dadurch besser dosierbar.
