I have purchased this product to learn to grow leafy greens at home. The team has been very supportive and has patiently answered all of queries over phone and whatsapp. The set up is very easy and the video was sufficient to set the whole system up. The team has guided through the amount of fertilizer to be applied by checking the health of my plants and TDS, Ph and EC. I have harvested italian basil 3 times with the first seeds i sowed. The team is ready to support even for different types of plants that I want to try in future! Very happy with the product and service.

I am a beginner and, like many others, I was drawn to the idea of growing my own fresh produce at home. Unfortunately, my experience with this system has been disappointing. The first issue I noticed was leakage from multiple points. The plastic quality is not very durable, and the channels tend to develop cracks over time. This is a serious problem because nutrient solution is expensive, and constant leakage adds significantly to the running cost. When my product arrived, several parts were missing, and one of the tube lights was not working. I reached out to customer support, and while they initially promised replacements, the process turned into a long and frustrating cycle of self-repair, providing evidence and waiting for approvals. In the end, I had no choice but to buy the missing parts and even a new grow light myself. Another thing I realized is that this system is not truly “plug-and-play” as it may seem. Beyond learning hydroponics, you will also need plumbing skills and the ability to troubleshoot and repair hardware — and believe me, breakdowns happen more often than expected. Overall, I feel that beginners should be aware of the hidden costs and effort involved. If you are new and looking for a smooth start, you may want to carefully evaluate whether this is the right system for you.

After 45 days and a harvest of spinach, I am writing this review. The product is excellent. Although made of plastic, it is quite sturdy and easy to work with with. The support from the CityGreens team is excellent. They are always available for any queries right from installation to harvest. They guide you through all the stages. I would definitely recommend this to any hydroponic enthusiast.

City Greens have been very supportive from the word go. My first hydroponics harvest with the able support of City Greens - Amaranthus, Coriander, Italian Basil and Spinach. Italian Basil and Coriander smell fantastic. Amaranthus and Spinach are very tender and fresh. The kit is easy to assemble. It's real fun, thrill and exciting to grow these plants without soil. A very good and a satisfying experience indeed.

It is expensive.Unless price is reasonable this system will not be cost effective.It is a totally indoor system which was not mentioned in the product brief.In case it is used outdoorsthe steps to be taken need be included in the instruction manual.

1. The channels are too shallow resulting in overflow of nutrients when using an 18 W water pump supplied with the kit. 2. The size of the output holes needs to be increased to ensure a study outflow of nutrients without their over spilling the channels. 3. The frames of the stand are flimsy. They bend in the centre when the channels are placed on them. This results in the uneven heights of all the channels, the centre channels being lower than the end channels.

Kit is very good easy to assemble and easy to use. citygreen team support is very nice they assist from day 1 . Plant quality is too good. love this hydroponic plantation .
