I’m allergic to bee stings and their products. My old lip balm was creating dryness and cracking with my lips. Exactly what you don’t want to happen. It took some searching to find a bee’s wax free balm; even with typing in “bee”s wax free lip balm”. You need to read the ingredient list. In one article where a dermatologist was recommending 20 bee’s wax free balms,18 contained wax. Nice paycheck for no work. Doing more research, I found this brand. Improved my lips almost immediately. No longer have dryness or cracking. It’s a game changer.

I’ve been using this chapstick for 5 years now and it’s my favorite, I subscribe and save to get 3 every month because I’m an avid chapstick user. HOWEVER, I’ve noticed lately - the lids are not fitting the stick anymore, and they fall off and get lost. Wish they would fix the lids!

I do not know how it came about but all products with beeswax cause my lips to chap, ironically. This product does what it should, my lips stay hydrated and the mint flavor is nice too.

I was very excited to find a lip balm without beeswax and I bought the sweet mint three pack. My lips tend to get red and chapped in the winter if I don't use lip balm, but are usually okay for the rest of the year. I put this on once or twice a day, and my lips were fine throughout early spring and summer, although I haven't yet put it through the deep winter test yet. I didn't experience any stinging or irritation. I do think the balm I was previously using with beeswax was more protective and sturdy (had that waxy shield you know); this is a little thinner and more of a moisturizer than a preventative action (sort of feels like coconut oil on your lips, but less melty). I gave four stars because I really wish it was in a cardboard tube!! I'll keep looking for an alternative because I want to be plastic-free, but if you need an easy vegan lip balm this will do fine.
